Moore & Moore Cafe reviews
82Fantastic place for breakfast. Large but quirky and fun layout. Food and coffee was excellent. Our kids. Not so much.
Had the eggs and toast for breakfast. Portions were tiny and overpriced as the poached eggs were about the same size as the bread!
Great venue in the heart of Fremantle, mostly tucked away off the street and some seating within the adjacent art gallery! Good menu, the Orange, Pumpkin & fennel salad was an absolute highlight. Fast service, funky surrounds. Definitely recommend this cafe.
These guys are all over it. The salmon potato cake with kimchi was delicious. And even though l prefer a lighter roasted coffee it was not too acidy and easy to drink. Hmm. Better go back tomorrow, me thinks.
I love this place. Freo is full of good cafe's but for me this is the best. Good menu, cool staff, great decor. There's always something interesting going on in the art gallery next door too.
We had our first clean plate club of the week which is far and few between with our two year old. Pancakes, Eggs Royale, avocado and toast. They had a Turmeric Latte which always makes my wife’s day.
Brilliant food and coffee! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and decor. Only fault is that the place is so busy that the coffee comes out a little late with food.but a busy cafe' is a good sign, so that's just being nit-picky. Highly recommend as a must do when is Freemantle!
Cosy and friendly place. It does get busy at the back but they've got plenty of seats inside one of the rooms. There's outdoor seating as well with lots parking at the next street. I had avo on toast wasn't a big fan of a whole avo. Will come back to try other items on their menu.
Great with kids as there are tpys to entratein them. Love the atmosphere and food. Coffee could be better though. And a changing space for small children.
Really poor experience here trying to get a half decent coffee. Forgot me or just took them 30 mins to pour a coffee when I had to leave for an appointment I arranged with them to get that coffee later. Upon arriving back later another confusingly long wait, no apology, served in a take Away cup and pretty average coffee. Get a bigger kitchen folks or separate coffee out to the side. I won’t waste time here again.
Having been here on a Sunday, we have had to wait for a table with all the hussle and bussle but today there was no wait (still busy-ish). Service was friendly and lively, food came out pronto and deserves 6 stars. We will be back again. #vegobreaky
Very nice place to spend time, either having coffee and a meal, or checking out the amazing art in the adjoining gallery. Our regular favourite.
On point for the hipster cafe vibe, however, when you have to wait in line to order your meal whilst your company holds the table is a bit of a time waster. I enjoy going to cafes to spend time catching up with people, not to stand in line for half an hour. The menu is slightly overpriced for the offering of food too, the meal I ordered was also rather quite bland in flavour. Maybe try researching cafes in Melbourne, as there’s not one I can fault in terms of service, price and quality of food.
Coffee is great and so is the French-Croatian dude running the place! Some staff seem grumpy but he made it worth it by compensating for them. Total mad cat! Be prepared to wait if you go during peak periods.
One of my favorite places to brunch,
The ambience is very nice. It's really relaxing to sit at the back yard and enjoy a great coffee and chat.
The coffee is awesome.
I only tried the food twice and was pretty happy with it both times.
The staff are amazing too.
Definitely recommended if you just start trying brunch places and cafes in Perth (and Fremantle).
Paid parking directly out front, 10 min walk from Fremantle Station, in the heart of Freo. Looks to be wheelchair friendly from what I could see. If you look out for their red sign it is easy enough to find. They have a variety of different seating areas some even in the Art Gallery which connected to the place. The outdoor seating down the back is perfectly shaded for sunny weather. The place is really well kept and has an appropriate heritage Freo warehouse vibe & matching decor. In my experience the food looks and tastes amazing. I had the Pulled Beef burger and it was a good size with a delicious salad. Did not have to wait to long for the food, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Intrigued. Ate again here recently, and, still had to line up like a farm animal to get water/order food for my table. The food was brilliant, and it’s a super nice place, so kudos on that front guys. But hey, when you’re that busy and still can’t serve tables, it’s a tad insulting. Lonnnngggg line ️? I guess I’m not in Melbourne now
Had the unfortunate experience of meeting the owner and totally spoiled our lunch experience, would not recommend this venue, there are much better places.
Charging a dollar extra for a take away cup to "discourage people" is a joke and a cheap rip-off in my view. Looks like a nice place but I wont be back.
Very hipster, full of hipsters and very good coffee. Perfect meeting place for you and your friends.
