Moore & Moore Cafe reviews
82 Very disappointed with the overall service at this cafe. When I arrived and got into the line to order there were no menus around anywhere, so I asked for one when I got to the front of the line and the young waiter taking orders said to me very rudely that he doesn't have one. I eventually found a menu lying around on one of the cabinets but it was very very wet as it had been lying in the rain and the writing on the menu was smudged. I was forced to order something randomly off a menu that I couldn't read due to the young waiter saying that there are no dry menus.
After I finished ordering and paying for everything, the young waiter raised his voice and rudely told me to put the wet menu on one of the vacant tables for the next customer. Firstly, it is not the customers responsibility to place menus on tables for customers, this job should be done by someone who works at the cafe. Secondly, As a waiter who has to interact with customers, You do not raise your voice at customers as it creates an unpleasant experience for the customers.
Now that I got all the negative stuff out the way I can now go onto the one positive thing I have to say. I enjoyed the overall quality of the food as it was delicious. I ordered the pumpkin smash and watermelon juice and enjoyed it very much.
In conclusion, I won't be returning here any time soon until the waitstaff improve their attitude towards customers and menus are visible and provided when customers come in.
This venue was amazing for a special wedding I was a guest at. Staff absolutely amazing, food delicious and the setting out of this world, just so personal you thought you were in your own lounge. Thank you Moore and Moore.
Had a lovely lunch here. Nice feel, friendly staff, menu has loads of options for gluten free dairy free and vegan that aren't an afterthought- genuinely interesting dishes. Dogs seemed welcomed might take out little guy when we return.
Moore & Moore of this please! This place ain’t just a cafe it’s a complete sensory experience. From the spectacular interior design to the delicious breakfast options Moore & Moore hits the spot! Lovedddd the coffee too.
After waiting at least 45+ mins for coffee/food I politely asked the team if they had an update on when we could expect one or both. I was told that I gave them the wrong table number and that they had asked every table in the venue if they were waiting on food. This was a complete lie as neither my table nor the tables around us had been asked if they were waiting on anything and I definitely provided the right number. To make matters worse our food which had sat on the pass for seemingly a long time and had gone cold was still delivered to our table a few minutes later, reheated rather than remade as it was “going to be such a waste of food” the team stated if they had to remake it. Our coffee arrived another 20 mins later. I was giving this place a second chance after a previous sub par experience but never again.
I’m a huge fan of Moore and Moore. Simon and his team are friendly, great cooks, and have created a wonderful spot to eat, drink and have conversation
Very nice little Cafe with interesting interior and great food. Me and my partner used to go here for lunch all the time when we both worked in Fremantle.
My mom loves going here for breakfast with her friends every other weekend. Highly recommend to check this small cafe out.
My milk tasted off it was very unpleasant. Another time they got my milk wrong they used cows milk instead of oat milk GROSS!
Absolutely brilliant layout and real cool feel, a placed you must go to and have a coffee and enjoy it's vib the coffee was spot on,
After checking out the 5 star reviews, I had high hopes for this establishment.
Great service by friendly staff. There’s a play area for kids and younger kids. Beautiful decor inside - they’ve definitely put some effort in to being a ‘trendy’ yet quaint joint.
Unfortunately, some of the food plates we ordered weren’t up to scratch. It was also hugely expensive (the extras were extortionate.).
We ordered the banana hotcakes for the kids. They brought out just one pancake. The coffee was great though.
Overall, it was nice. Nice but too expensive.
Frequented this Cafe many times and love the atmosphere of it. The food is always delicious. Having tried the vegan nachos, vegetable panini and bircher muesli, they are all delicious. The chocolate chai is also the best
The worst iced chocolate I have ever had, it was all ice with a dash of milk and a shake of cocao, and to top it all off they used a small water cup to serve it in.
The carrot cake is also to be avoided, it was really dry and had barely any icing!
Food would have been good if it had been hot or even warm. Coffee same. Waited 40 minutes for it. Freezing cold room. Disappointed.
This place is a little gem the food was outstanding and the staff were very helpful, our celiac girl friend had no issues with choosing any gfo meals and as a meat eater there were lots of options Would highly recommended this place
One of my favourites. Staff are lovely, food is always delicious, large variety of teas (which can be served with their made on premises nut milk) and a gorgeous building.
Love Moore & Moore - have since my uni days at Notre Dame! Great coffee and food. Highly recommended!
Love Moore and Moore for a Sunday or Saturday for breakfast or lunch only problem is so many people no about it now so it’s always busy: P
Love this cafe. Very ‘Freo’! Cool vibe, relaxed garden courtyard, amazing food and great coffee. As soon as you walk through the front doors you know you’ve made the right decision.
Lovely organic and healthy food. Very tasty. Good coffee. Helpful staff. Great street chic environment.
Favourite place in Freo for coffee. Plenty of space, kids play area, art displays to look through, and good food offerings.
