This feels like such a hidden gem. A great affordable selection of drinks (matcha latte!), smoothies and juices, as well as kitchen food and cakes with limited gluten free cakes. The food menu had gluten free options though. The drinks seem to be like 50c cheaper than you'd expect at other cafes. There's a lovely outdoor covered seated area. Didn't have to wait for a table on a Sunday. The bookshop is cute too. Toilets around the back. Parking isn't too bad. There's plenty of residential streets around, try Douglas Ave on the northern side of millpt road or Tate street on the southern side and walk over. Will visit again

Great selection of books and knowledgeable staff. I didn't get to try the coffee but the tables were full and customers had drinks and food. Will be back!

Lovely cafe and bookshop, it is gorgeous sitting amongst all the books or outside in the courtyard. The only thing I would improve is the variety of food in the cafe.

My favourite Cafe in Perth!
The food is super delicious, the garden area is so cute and the bookshop gives you the feeling that you belong there. Is a very welcoming place, staff members are so smiling and so passionate in what they do that is a pleasure to be spoiled by them. If you have a dog they will even spoil your furbaby! The prices are reasonable and in the area there are many places a lot more expensive, portion are quite satisfiable and the variety of food is great.
The Coffee is the best in the area and I cannot drink coffee anywhere else. I found myself going in other cafes because of my busy appointments list and I always ends up ordering something else but coffee.
The Millpoint is also getting busier and busier and I suggest to book a table.
Well done Millpoint owners and staff, you create the perfect place for your customers!

I love this little cafe and have always had a positive experience when visiting. I met friends here for coffee on Thursday and unfortunately there were a few disappointments.
The little vegetable pies were delicious, but the toasted sandwich was really bad.two thick slabs of sliced bread made the sandwich hard to swallow; in fact was inedible. And the majority of our coffees were luke warm. So sad - at least one member of our group said they wouldn’t return, but I’m hoping on my next visit, all will be back to normal. There was even a discussion at the table saying that there must be new owners, such was the change in our experience!?
The bookshop setting is delightful, and we enjoyed our catch up, and no one felt like complaining.

During my holidays in Perth I have been in this cafe almost every day with family and friends. Best coffee in Perth, we tried almost every single item in the menu and.wow! We love it! Great atmosphere, friendly staff memebers, good coffee and food, best selection of books I have ever seen in a small bookshop! Absolute in love with this place and actually glad I cannot go back to my home just yet.thanks for making me feel at home.

The atmosphere is great but the staff are over busy and not that helpful. The biggest problem is that they put reserved signs on tables with no sign of what time it is reserved for. The result is that even at 7: : 30 in the morning most tables are unavailable.

Millpoint caffe bookshop was a great stop over, for breakfast/brunch! Their books are available for browsing before purchase, and they have a wide range available for most tastes. Food was great too, we had omelette of the day (with spinach and mushrooms), their eggs and avocado and the french toast. Enjoy!

Always a great atmosphere, surrounded by books, and the air conditioning has improved since my last visit. My pumpkin toasty was warm and tasty, value for money, however the staff seemed all over the place and overloaded. I'll be back.

Tired service, poor time management and either over worked staff or staff with minimal care factor. Went back after a good year + due to the same issues. Timing of coffee and food. Plus general customer service. Very subpar unfortunately

The ambiance in the courtyard is good. Have been here several times. Not super impressed by the coffee. Last time I went they burnt the beans - so bitter.

Friendly service. Yummy coffee.
A little carpark but not impossible to find somewhere.
Love the idea of a book store being attached.
