Mercure Perth

Nice hotel, large and comfortable rooms, did enjoy my stay.
Passages are noisy though, so bring earplugs.
Bathrooms are dated but functional.
I did like the in-room coffee machine.

The standard coffee at the otherwise outstanding buffet was a crime against humanity.
You can ask for barista coffee and they'll oblige, but I only found out at the end of stay.

The property was central, the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was ok, not a lot of selections. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, although the hot tub area needs cleaning as we noticed a few really dirty towels left hanging around

Place with best locations very friendly concierge and valet parking. Room very big nice bed sleep very well. Just one thing need to be improved.

Welcoming drink

When we want to exchange the voucher for free welcoming drink they refised us twice.

First she said only one person who served the bar. She asked us to wait for another waiter.

Second time when we came back to the hotel at 10.05 pm we tried once again to use the voucher for free drink. Unfortunately they are closed at 10.00pm event though there were the waiters.

Can't blame them coz rule is rule.

We wish it could be better.

2 or 3 star but for the price. $300 a night for two nights above a generator and a street so your sleep is interrupted.

Cbd location but grimy location and it's so painful to see the homeless people nearby.

Gave 3 stars instead of 1 due to good service staff. Appreciated a friendly smile upon arrival and departure.

It was an OK hotel. The pool was warm like a bath and some good TV channels on TV. I am dissapointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. There was dirt near the drain of the shower such as hair, there was hair on the end of the bed, stains on the armchair, etcetera. It wasn't just the room though, the elavator was not hoovered and the mirrors were certainly not wiped. Cleanliness is not this hotels strong suit. I hope in the future that the hotel is sparkling clean. Other than that it was a reasonably good hotel

Breakfast is alright. (average)
*The pastry weren't cooked enough, they were still white and raw inside.
*They didn't have any honey for 2 days.
*The buffet was not topped up as frequently as a normal 4 star hotel
*One of the managers was sitting down on the side sofa
*The food wasn't as fresh, for example the can peaches didn't have any flavour and the mushrooms tasted watery, the pineapple had skin on it and was pale.
*Service was very basic.
However the room service was very attentive, smiley and pizza was delicious.
There are a few small things that aren't recognised by the staff or managers that could easily get the standards back to where it belongs.

Good but a little tired. Building occurring across the road making it slightly noisy. Good position.

I only attended a conference there but from what I saw the hotels environment isn't too great, I went there when some construction was going on so hopefully it will get better. The staff however was very helpful and you could see that everyone there speaks to each other which creates a good work environment for them in turn making a great customer experience. I think it will get better with time.

Location, and facilities (spa and pool) were great, however rooms and bathroom are dated. Cleanliness in bathroom requires improvement

Excellent location to the CBD, comfortable rooms and very pleasant and accommodating service. The buffet breakfast is ridiculously good.

Staff very professional and helpful, location is great, price is alright. Rooms are getting a bit old and tired and the gym is pretty hopeless, no dumbbells or barbells.

Decent hotel, somewhat friendly staff. I'd happily stay here again however I had mixed experience with the staff with some going out of their way to make you feel welcome such as during check in and random encounters however one time when requesting a new pillow the staff were not nice and unhelpful.we never got our pillow. The location and buffet breakfast are both great although they need new plates!

Very central, good facilities (although gym and swim not available). As for room facing the river. Breakfast buffet ok.

Service was great. Friendly Staff and well appointed rooms. Food was great and the whole atmosphere was suitable for the price of the property.

We had a great event in here. The problem is that organization didn't provide enough chairs at the beginning so we had to wait to get one, so the conference started late.

Staff were nice and it's a quiet central location, but shower needed fixing, housekeeping hadn't been when I checked in, and I got standard pillows when ordering feather ones from the pillow menu.

The Mercure Hotel Perth is well located to attractions of inner Perth. It is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable clean and well appointed. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and the hotel staff are friendly and approachable. Good hotel to use as a base to explore Perth.

Guys, I mean no offence. You are absolutely fine, everything worked & breakfast was ok. Is certainly one star up from a regular Travelodge. Rooftop pool & patio was welcome.

Have a mixed feeling to our stay. A few maintenance problems with rooms (eg water coming through the ceiling in bathroom and the mould and deteriorating ceiling indicates it was not a recent problem), but they where quick to find us a new room. The spa was out of order. We also had a few friendly helpful staff but also we had a few unhelpful rude ones. Breakfast was nice, and dinner was nice when we finally received it (took nearly 1 hour for our food to arrive even though we were first in the restaurant and other quests who came in after us had received and eated their food before we got ours).

Not really happy at all.
Bathroom is very outdated,
Bed was small.
I’d maybe say it’s a 3-31/2 star.
