I came here the other day, after having a panic attack and ruining my makeup at joondalup, i quickly ran to mecca and asked them if they could quickly fix up my makeup for me.they didn’t even hesitate to help me and to calm me down, they fixed my makeup and made me feel so beautiful, also gave me samples and sparkling water. The staff there are beautiful and so polite.thank you so much for making me feel so special️

Renae and Tessa were fabulous today. I have very sensitive and frustrating skin and it was a big step asking for help and learning what products will help with coverage.
My questions were never too many and they actually listened to what I was after even though it was very different to their styles.
The products are great, but it's the customer service during the tutorial that will keep me shopping there.

Grace was amazing. It’s so good to see a store that knows that I’m here in person because im exploring otherwise I would have bought on line. Grace listened to what I wanted. Read between the lines and made great recommendations. She even gave me samples knowing it was for my wedding so I could take it for my trial and swap out of it didn’t work. Immaculate person. Warning - be careful when purchasing from here. I bought a product from Mecca Maxima on the 12th of May, 2022. No one asked if I needed help at the time, and I had to single out a member of staff to ask what recommendations she had for primers that were suitable for those with sensitive, dry and acne-prone skin. I had swatched (tried) several different ones while in store, some left my skin feeling irritated and the other was fine. I chose one, and then received a product which was different from the one I had in mind - and did not realise until I had got home. Nonetheless, I had put it on my face to test, and my skin reacted badly - the product burnt my skin and irritated it to the point that I had to remove it. I did not ask to return it at the time as I was unemployed and looking desperately for work, but was aware that under the Australian Consumer Rights and Guarantees, refunds and exchanges can still be done no matter the time which has elapsed. I was then told by multiple Mecca Maxima workers that I was not entitled to a refund purely because of their 90 day policy, and that they considered it change of mind - which I beg to differ. I was sold something that wasn’t what I expected, something that was unsafe for me to use - and did not match the product description. (As it didn’t match the one I sampled before) Mecca Maxima uses a sneaky tactic within their website and on their receipts to make customers believe that after 90 days, their chances of refunding or exchanging a product is not possible although they do not explicitly state this is the case. They need to be investigated as it is deplorable and wrong that they are misleading customers into believing that they do not have a chance at changing or having their products refunded. I was told to contact their support team, who then agreed over the phone to me that yes; they are aware of the rules and regulations stating that they cannot delineate a date after which products cannot be returned, but will ultimately refuse service although it is against the law. I encourage customers to speak up against Mecca’s unlawful actions and their poor customer service.

I was introduced to Mecca by my work colleague about 6 months ago. It was a little overwhelming when I first walked in as I had no idea where to start. That feeling did not last long. I was greeted by the gorgeous Alice who spoke to me with such caring, understanding and passion about the products and about what would and wouldn’t work. I soon bought my son in and she has fixed his skin also. She listened to what we needed gave samples so we could see what we liked without forking out hundreds of dollars.
I booked in for a makeover as it’s been years since I learned to do my makeup and to be honest we aren’t living in the 80s and 90s anymore. I met the beautiful Skyla who again was patient and understanding and listened to what I needed she patiently explained the products and worked with my needs. I was blown away by how well she did my makeup and have learnt how to apply a more current look from her.
My next makeover was a glam one as I was going to my work Christmas party. I met the beautiful Tess. Who once again listened to exactly what I wanted. Tess was amazing and did such a great job.
Everyone I have spoken to there has been so helpful and accommodating of my needs. It’s so refreshing to go to a company as big as Mecca and have the staff care. Everyone seems so happy.

Alison was amazing! She was busy at the time but my sister and I wanted to find products to help our acne scars. She went through so many products told us the benefits and what to avoid due to the fact it’s hormonal acne. She knew her products, ingredients and was so so helpful. She really spent time helping us find the perfect products. All around the best experience. Would happily go again if she was there. 10/10 amazing!

I Went in today to look for some new foundation and concealer, didn’t really have a clue what type of ones I wanted but Alice I think her name was, she was so helpful and honestly she has such a positive vibe to be around definitely knows what she is doing and will help you with what you need! Highly recommend going to Alice if she is there:)

Went in today, not sure of what I needed. Jade was so sweet and patient, helping me find lipstick and tinted moisturiser to suit my skin tone. We chatted about bunnies and she really brightened my day <3

I had a wonderful experience at Mecca Joondalup this morning. I was helped by Nick who was so lovely and helped me to find the right brow products and gave me advice on eye serums and some samples. Always a pleasure shopping here and I’m keen to return soon.

Try makeup service and get free same amount of credit which you can use it for product purchase later. Need to book weeks in advance. Great service, very helpful staff
