MCQ Fresh

Hi! Everybody this is my experience at this supermarket which I sent to MCQ supermarket

Please read and hope no one has this kind of stupid experience

I am regular base customer for your business once a week kind for your morley shop

And I had really bad experience

I went in to your place lunch time and looking for Durian Chips

And there was manager looking guy so I ask for help

He was telling me to go num 5 so I went but I could not find

So I went to see him again and explain situation and ask for further support

He keep saying the product on num 5 for sure but I Saud no ther was none

He replied to me he will be come and have a look so I went back to num 5 and wait

Oviously he never came

So I was asking other staff for help

One of lady was on the phone speaking someone and just saying if I can't find it there is none with very rude attitude

Another staff also reply very rude

So I went back to Manager looking staff and I asked him very firmly to come and have a look

He was very rude from beginning and say your shop does not have product

Oviously I was not happy at all this point and I asked him to be more kind for customer and he answered i am crazy

So I explain that I am customer and you supposed to give some kind of SERVICE

and he start stare at me like he want fight

So I went back and come back to him and ask his name

He asked me back my name and I said my name is Soon and he said his name is Soon And start having fun

I told him I will contact your company about situation

Your business is supermarket and Oviously if customer cannot find products we can ask and expect support on certain quality of service as hospitality industry

It was stupid and ridiculously rude

I think your business need some kind of training for your staff

PS:

I went VHT after your shop to find same product and staff from VHT was super kind and helpful even suggested other products in 5 min time rather than I waste my time and my feeling in your shop

Full of Racism. Their employee asked me to park my trolley outside the store before entering (I had all the receipts of my shopping). But let all the Chinese people go with their trolleys without even asking anything. It’s just for Chinese people, not recommended to any other nationalities.

I like the service the Staffs they're helpful and courteous actually it's my husband favourite shops

Not recommended……Security Guard at entrance is racist ……. Possibly in need of another job…. Allowing all the people from chinese communities…… and want other people to park their trolleys with reciepts outside without being responsible for that …. And when i said i will complain he said owner is his best friend……. Dont go there guys …. Go to Spudshed guys …. Where you will be respected regardless of your origin of country cheers

A lot of interesting Asian stuff, good prices and fun to browse you'll always find something cool

One of my favourite Asian shop. It has so many varieties of fresh produce. Local vegies and fruits, spices and all the local and imported gourmet sauces and noodles you need for an authentic international cuisines. The meat, fruits and vegies are all so fresh and arranged neatly to highlight its freshness.

The staff are all very helpful and organised too. I have asked them for advice when I couldn't find what I was looking for. We come here all the time and always ended up buying more than what's on my list just because they have so much to offer.

Surprisingly the prices are all reasonable too. This is a must visit! And check out what they have to offer.

MCQ has lost a lot of its space to introduce fresh meat. Its a shame as the fresh produce was a big attraction for me. Also kind of a bad marketing move as there is a butcher literally on its doorsteps. On the day there are boxes and products piled everywhere. The aisles were very cramped.

Your service at the checkout was not good. I provided him my shopping bag but he has not bothered to help to put the items into my bag. Your other MCQ branches at Morley and Beechboro were very good and helpful.

Very pleasantly surprised. To see all the different things other than fruit veggies and butchers products available. I will go again and prices. Reasonable

Simply love shopping for the wide variety of fresh foods and groceries with my family every time we come here. Prices are competitive and reasonable, service is fast and ambience is lively!

Always a pleasure to roam the enormous selection of international products and fresh fruit and vegetables which are all at great prices. I have some staple items but often find new things to try which then often get added to my regular buys. Grandies love to walk with us and point out the fruit and veges they recognise, which is nice too. Staff are helpful and friendly - and (which I strongly feel is important) seem happy to work there.

Good supermarket, better quality fruits than spud shed. Great range of asian frozen foods & other things.

Worse experience, I went shopping today and the staff couldn't find the price for one of the item which is shower gel then staff asked me to pay most of items while waiting for the price of that item, I did pay. Later on one of the staff came and asked me to pay for that item at the other check out and that item only cost me 10$ but the staff made me pay 173.78$. I told the staff this is not right, she replied me this maybe for all you items, I said No, I have already paid for them. Then she did the refund back to my account but I am not happy with that at all, why we have to wait for our own money and if it not transfer to my account I have to come back which is wasting my time too. They suppose to check before ask customer to pay.

I go to MCQ regularly because it has a great selection of Asian food, particularly from the Philippines. There is also a huge selection of fruits and veges and are a lot cheaper than the major supermarkets. The quality is quite decent.

Very good supermarket, with poor customer service, they sold me spoiled 25kg rice and when I contacted them about returning it the staff was rude and accused me of being dishonest. Before going there I was told to keep the receipt an take a photo, upon arrival at the shop there was one very rude lady with grey hair who was uncooperative, adamant made me feel little, she demanded to see the whole bag of rice when on the phone they had actually told me to bring receipt an the photo and not worry about bringing the bag of rice. They are so unprofessional.

One stop shop with every Asian supermarket staple. Fresh produce and butcher inside. Good value for money!

Asian supermarket with range of asian products along with western goods. Stock veggies, meat and bakery range as well. Although customer service needs improvement shop is always well stocked. Located within Coventry square, which consists of many other shops and eateries.

I’m having suicidal thoughts because my dad left me when I was a child he said he was going to woolies to grab some milk for cereal it was at that point I wanted to kill myself after all of it until I visit McQ in Morley all of the produce was nice and fresh and then I met this lovely cashier called Jinghao he gave me advice to live my life at its full extent he also gave me a 10 percent discount and a free bag to go along with it, I am very happy with their customer service and I will be shopping there even more thank you McQ

It's a great market. The fruit and vegetables are lovely and fresh. Good range of spices and good price.

It's a good sized full supermarket with an emphasis on Asian groceries and pantry items, but they also sell a broad range of fruit and vegetables, meat, freezer items, general pantry items, as well as various seasonal and ready to eat or heat up items near the checkouts.

You can go here for just your regular day to day shop for general groceries, to shop for Asian groceries or both quite conveniently.

Prices are very reasonable, and as it's in Coventry there's plenty of parking in the dedicated car park.
