Great night. Beautiful food. Wonderful staff, awesome atmosphere. The pasta was so delicious and the staff provided a great service and were funny and helpful

Sadly the Rissotto was under seasoned. A bland overpriced dish. The other dishes we had were delicious. Frozen mango daiquiri was yummo!

Dogs got pats in beer garden from every staff member. Five stars. Also mango beer is very good.

This is my favourite restaurant in all of WA. We come to Broome specifically so we can sit at Matso's. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and attentive and the beer is cold. We sit outside and play uno and drink jugs of the dark beer and life is good.

The crocodile dish was the best we had! Highly recommend the tasting paddles for an overall experience!

Great atmosphere, went there last weekend. The restaurant wasn’t huge busy and some of the waiters were having fun talking, laughing and not being too attentive to those of us in their stations. We needed refills, extra napkins. I lift my hand when I thought one of them was looking my way. But she ignore my efforts twice to get her attention. Superb food as always, this was our 10+ time visit to Matso's. We'll come back, but hopefuly next time waiters would be more engaging to us customers.

Terrible customer service majority of the male waiters are very rude and disrespectful. As you enter the bar/restaurant none of the waiters greet you or even crack a smile.

Located right next to Town Beach. Get a whiff of sea and beach and listen to the sound of seagulls and live music.

If you go purely for its namesake and you keep to drinks and drinks only, it's worth every dollar. The selection is great and the paddle taster is a must if you're unsure of what flavoured beer you want. Food is average at best with not a lot of options but aside from that, everything else was fantastic. Staff were helpful and friendly, lots of space and is walkable from Chinatown and Town Beach. It's also conveniently placed right in front of the local bus stop.

Well worth a visit.

Would not suggest if travelling alone

I booked my table for 1 around 1pm to secure an early booking (5: 30pm) to give me enough time to eat then find somewhere to watch the stair case to the moon around 6: 50. I arrived at exactly 5: 30 and was glad to find i had a table reserved in a nice spot looking out to the bay with my name on it.

I soon ordered a drink and then food, i asked for an entree size of salt & pepper calamari and a Crispy Pork Belly. The salt & pepper calamari came out quite quickly (15mins) but was a very large serving. I only ate half because of the serving. I then had to wait another 35mins for the crispy pork belly which was a bigger serving than the salt & pepper calamari. By the time i finished that it was too late to go find somewhere to watch the staircase to the moon so i decided i would just stay for some drinks.

However after asking for one more drink when they took my plates i had waitresses walk past me for 20mins with an empty table and no drinks, not once asking if id like another drink or acknowledge me.

I was incredibly polite throughout the whole night so im unsure why i was ignored to the end.

In the end i decided just to leave after i was walked past again with no service.

Tonight was my last night in Broome but if i come back to Broome i wont be visiting Matso's Broome Brewery again.

What started as a good night unfortunately ended poorly

Superb mango beer and first rate grilled fish on the balcony all while watching the fly-out of 50,000 black flying foxes from the mangroves i could see some silhouetted with a baby attached! Wow! I would have paid an extra $ 50.00 just to see this! Thanx Matsos.ps.lovely staff.

First time in Broome, had to check out Matso’s after being recommended multiple times. Lovely location, excellent customer service and amazing food. Highly recommend.

I normally try and avoid negative reviews, but this was really disappointing had a booking for 6.30pm on Wednesday 14th, arrive only to see a note that they've closed for staff party (happy for them, really upsetting for us). We received no message or phone call to inform us that they would be closing, not even sure why our booking was accepted. We only had one night in Broome, and love the mango beer so this was a big let down

Excellent beers. Really enjoyed the ginger beer and hard lemonade (ok I'm not sure hard lemonade counts as a beer). The chicken wings had just the right amount of heat (spice).

Always great food. One meal didn't come out till we had all finished but overall pretty good service

Great to visit, have enjoyed Matsos ginger beer for a while now.
Mango beer is great too but nothing beats the ginger.

We love matsos we've been coming here for years. The menu and food is always awesome except this time. To our surprise it's just lacking variety and the usual flair. We understand the times we're in hopefully next time it's back to it's usual greatness

Super fast friendly service as always. Amazing seating with spectacular water view. Simple yet amazing menu. We have been coming here since opening many years ago. I am so glad owner is doing absolutely right things for this place. It is getting better each time visited. Thank you Matsos! I also love the logo with Japanese vibe as I am one and I am proud that Broome was found by one of my county man back then. We will be back again and again!

This place is fantastic! Great atmosphere, food and drinks. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant/brewery for couples and families.

Amazing experience and beautiful customer service. Our bartender James even took the time to run our food out too us to make sure we had the right cutlery for our burgers to be cut in half.
Will come again for sure
