Ordered a coffee, fresh juice and Salmon bagel, awesome tastes across the board.
Staff so friendly and wifi is very fast
Location and cafe layout are great.

Shame about what appears to be the owner but, found her to be quite cold and rude even before the eftpos machine went down

Ok, but there are better places. Really expensive and style over substance. It's not terrible and they are nice, but its easy to find a better and cheaper breakfast/coffee elsewhere. 2 kids 2 adults and 2 coffees, $75.

Absolutely the best cafe in Mandurah. Every time I go the staff are so wonderful and the food and drinks are always amazing.

Mataya was like a home away from home little Cafe with a warm welcome presence soon as you step foot inside. You are welcomed by a set of French doors and a few different seating options are awaiting for you to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate or cappuccino along with home-based Oat slice that just melts in your mouth or be indulgent and get the snickers bar.
If you would like something for lunch then you can choose from ham and cheese and tomato filled croissants or a toastie to name a few.
If you are after a gift for yourself or for someone else you will have that special something here.

Try the sleep balm it is beautiful and will help soothe the mind.

Fast and friendly service, good coffee in a welcome and relaxed atmosphere. There's a wide selection of food and sweets available from the counter, as well as some interesting and fun items for sale on the back wall.
Plenty of street parking available, and outside dining too.
Staff were wearing masks when we went in - good to see they care about everyone's health.
With a super friendly atmosphere it is a great place to go for coffee, lunch or something a bit more substantial.

Great local to our co-working space in Mandurah, Make Place.

Triple shot Almond Latte served with a smile and great loyalty program.

Glad I stumbled across this joint!

Mataya is well and truly one of 'the' best places in Mandurah, for great coffee, food and amazing giftware. It has such a relaxed and friendly vibe, which draws attention with the bright pink door. I've nicknamed Mataya as 'The Pink Door'. Be sure to visit!

A beautiful quiet cafe. I was very pleased with the wide variety of healthy wholesome options. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I only wish I discovered this jewel earlier!?

No hot food Tuesday or Thursday. Went on a Tuesday so can only have cabinet food. Salmon bagel was lack of flavour. The brisket bagel was nice. Turmeric latte was delicious but coffee was over extracted, hence very bitter. Interesting and girly deco.

Relaxed, chilled, informal environment, both indoors and out.
I think food and beverage caters for a specific market, just not to my taste but pretty cool none the same.

I spent $14 on the acai bowl however, when I received it it was only 1/3 of the bowl full. Defiantly not worth $14 won’t be returning.

Best service and communication from a eatery ever! Friendly, efficient knowledgeable wait staff. Food absolutely amazing! Plenty of gluten free options. Right on the foreshore of beautiful Mandurah. Superb ️

We visited early Saturday morning, the staff were great, and made the visit enjoyable, the food ordered was simple, however the serving was delicious.
Felt like friends.

Love it, love it, love it
I was here a week ago, it was Sunday so pretty busy. So many people were in a line waiting for coffee. We ordered Eggs Benny with bacon and Hollandaise croissant and 2 iced coffees. Food came out pretty quickly, only took about 5-7 mins, and they were 10/10. I had been looking for a perfect brunch like this for a long time, poached eggs cooked beautifully. We were waiting quite long for the coffee, but we totally understood, they were super busy for take-away coffee. And when they brought the coffee to us, they apologied and I would like give them more than 5 because of the service. I forgot to say that the coffee tasted really good. I will definitely come back here if I go to Mandurah again.

This is by far the prettiest cafe in Mandurah; you feel cooler by association just by waking in. And those Portugese tarts! Fabulous.
