One of the best meals I had in WA. Gorgeous flavour combos. Yum wine list. Great ambiance. Lovely staff. Cheese was the only thing that let the meal down at the end! Need a better hard cheese range & potentially served with something spreadable. Otherwise, faultless.

Amazing! Delectable, delicious and absolutely fabulous. Brilliant staff, attention to detail and the food is to die for. Definitely our new go to.

Food was average. Scallops were nice, but avoid the octopus and the oysters, they definitely didn’t taste right

Perhaps more a venue for drinking rather than dining.

Sooooo good. Always a pleasure, even when accessorised with a mask.
We dud Chef's tasting menu. Too busy eating to photograph it all but final hot mains shown.

We went to Maderlanes for our wedding anniversary on November 20th. What a disappointment.
Nice atmosphere, great wine list but!
I love oysters. The ones served were old, had been sluiced with copious amounts of salt water but still stuck to the shell. They broke apart as I was trying to get them out of the shell and eat them.
Result Food poisoning as they were very old.
However the main course of fish was terrible.
We will never go there again and certainly would recommend others avoided this place as well.
John.

Snug in for a late wine and whiskey. Charming place, earnest service. Will definitely return for a meal!

We had an okay experience here. A bit hit and miss with things. The Aperol Spritz was just Aperol on ice, and not much in the glass. There was No Prosecco or the dash of soda or the slice of fresh orange you usually get with it. We felt ripped off there. The food was mostly okay, the portions needed to be bigger. We were worried the arctic fish we were paying $38 for may have bones, but needn’t have worried, there was barely any fish. It was basically a plate of chopped tomato with 3 tiny little pieces of fish. I think we were playing for the freight. It’s such a Perth thing to overprice and under deliver. And the table we were sitting on outside, we had to sit sideways because we couldn’t put our legs under the table because of the way the tables are made. Cheap tables that are only good for 2 people. The other 2 sit sideways. Not great for the back. A 50/50 of hits and misses experience. The staff were nice.

Great vibe, yummy seafood, lovely wines and cheeses, with good service. If I lived closer, I'd be here every weekend!

We went with the chef table; dishes were inspired with a good buildup to the main and desert (which were the stars if the show), service attentative and the wine list one of the best ones I have seen in a while (although on the pricey side). Overall a great experience! Only improvement suggestion would be to consider different plates for improved impact of the dishes - but this is me being really nitpicking

Won’t be coming back to this jumped up cafe, the staff are rude and up themselves. Everything is overpriced and served with a grimace.
Do not rely on any deals they post on social media!

A great place for a chilled out night, great seafood and good drinks. You could tell the seafood was so fresh and the flavours were classic and vibrant. It's a place to go to try new crustaceans and types of fish.
The night we went, a live 3 piece jazz band were playing and it was AMAZING! I haven't seen a live set that intimate in a restaurant before and the vibe was mega. Some thought it was too loud, but it was worth it.

Great location, warm and sunny in the afternoon. Staff are well versed in picking out a good wine and the food was fresh and tasty. Really impressed.

It’s a bit of a shame. What started off as a great local restaurant has perhaps become a little full of its own importance. Customers do not always arrive on time and also have food allergies but having observed how this was dealt with not sure I would recommend to others any more. Living in South Fremantle is different to Melbourne and much as I realise customers can be annoying the bottom line is the customer has to be right.
Food good wine list extensive but lost the south Freo vibe.

Beyond expectations! We ordered the chef's selections. All ingredients (seafood, veg, seasoning and bread) are so fresh. The chef certainly mastered blending of herbs and ingredients. Not to mention the exceptional service, the host here always attends your needs in time. They even have live music here! Love the clarinet performance!
A gem in Fremantle. A Must try.

If you want to be transported to Southern European bliss then this is your spot. Nothing beats a lazy luncheon, vino in hand, slowly grazing on fresh seafood and cesty greens. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Perth. It makes not being able to fly anywhere just that little bit better.

Tries very hard to be hipster and completely misses the mark. Food in particular is exspencive and just not very good at all. The sardines in particular were pretty bad. Service is even worse when trying to catch anyone's attention or fix a mistake (twice, asked for a refund the third time and left) from the kitchen.
Won't be back.

Wow! What a place. Fantastic experience, eclectic contemporary wine list with an interesting and dynamic yet accessible food menu. Not to be missed.

Nice little wine bar on South Terrace. Incredibly busy on the weekend and you can understand why.
Tried the sardines and they were a delicious bite to have with a cold one.
