Lalla Rookh

Went here for drinks and food with the company. Expensive menu, beers ok, wine was average and expensive. Atmosphere ok, plane was clean. Didn't wait long at the bar and they have some decent single malts. I had the $66 T bone steak, that's all you get for your money, steak was well cooked but way overpriced. If it was my money, I wouldn't be going back, better places at half the price.

Great food. Has two lovely areas - a pub area in the front and a nice quieter dining area in the back. Price is pretty standard.

I’ve dined at Lalla Rookh twice in the past two weeks. Once for a birthday function and the second for a family dinner – and both visits were uniformly excellent. Even amidst restrictions pertaining to the current Covid world we find ourselves in, the service was warm, friendly, and efficient – and the kitchen consistently produced excellent plates of food. They catered extremely well for dietary requirements including a seafood allergy and a coeliac even in the ‘il capo’ tasting menu option. Wine list excellent including some really great and rare European varieties. So satisfied with both meals that I only ever took photos of the first course in either case!

Foods were good but service was slow. We ordered Prawn Linguine, delicious but it came with no prawn. We were waiting for too long that we didn't want to waste another min to make a complaint. It was lunch time, weekday, and only 5-6 tables at that time

It was my first time there so I tried the il CAPO. All the 6 shared courses were tasty. The atmosphere was social enough to escape from a quite Perth's evening. Worth a comeback if I ever visit Perth again!

We sat in at the bar area of the wine cellar section for a couple of pre dinner drinks. The guy behind the bar was very welcoming, had a great knowledge of the wines/beers. Lalla Rookh had a lovely casual but up market vibe and we will return one day for dinner!

Service is fantastic. Staff are friendly and really know their wines and happy to help you select. Food is fantastic. This place is not to be missed!

Exceptional food and service. Great Italian food, with marvellous service. Located in an odd spot, with several bars adjoining the dining room. But the experience more than made up for the strange location.

Have visited this place recently with my team. Found services were great but beer options were not good and quality of beer were felt bad. Had a pint but felt lethargic for next 3 days. My team members also felt weird for next 3 days. Somethings were not right with beer. Owner should check what's wrong with beer.

Nice location and atmosphere, but food versus price is not good and service is not a strong point. Double vodka lime and soda will set you back $30. Good place if you have money to burn.

Easily my favourite place in Perth. Wine list is out of this world, food is amazing, and the staff are legendary. Needs more stars.

Great restaurant and ambience. Not cheap but definitely a place to try. Presentation, food and service faultless. The menu isn't extensive, but that's how we like it.

Enjoyed a lovey night here, service was great, being a hungry lad I felt the portion sizes were a little on the small side however still very tasty.

Some of the best gourmet food you can get in Perth. Great personal service from staff who ready want to match the best wine with a meal. Lovely little wine bar area out the back where an intimate feel is in the ambience. Ideal for taking clients on a quick lunch or as a special event for your partner. Wouldn't recommend it for kids though as the menu is not very kid friendly.

Nice menu with a great variety to choose from. For entree had the grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Main was the veal which was cooked perfectly. And dessert was the zabaglione semifreddo. Delicious.

Had a lovely delicately flavoured Squid Ink and Crab Pasta here. Definitely somewhere I’d love to eat again.

Massively disappointed after wanting to try eating here for so long. Prices were expensive and food was average at best. Service was good though

I had never heard of this place before tonight, but so glad thata changed.
The staff were polite and the gnocchi was amazing. I'm so full right now, but I could almost convince myself for round two.

Would not go back. I asked if I could add an item to the pizza I ordered and was refused, the waiter never smiled and in general was very ordinary Disappointed!
