Lovely dinner and good service. Waitstaff were lovely, although witnessed that management treat their staff poorly. Waitstaff were ran off their feet busy and overworked but grateful of their service as they made our day

Took the family here for lunch and we had a really good time. Service was great and the place was awesome, the kids had a great time.

Excellent customer service and the food is Devine would highly recommend this place for a meal or a Small gathering

We celebrated our Aunty birthday last night with 70 + guests they complimented on the generous size platters (thanks to the chef) the beef sliders were a huge hit, but also it wasn't unnoticed that the Staff were amazing so helpful and most of all Friendly.
Thank you all for making this evening so enjoyable.

This is what hamburger you can expect at LAKERS TAVERN for $27.00.we will never be going back, we were 20 year local patrons and there was only 10 people including us for dinner and not ONE SINGLE PERSON at the bar. Salt and pepper squid had SALSA from a jar from Coles? At a guess and the hamburger had no salad, no tomato, NOTHING.
Have a look at the quality Lakers Tavern, how do you expect patrons.

This is the third time I've had Christmas lunch here and it was disappointing this year. The food wasn't as good as it had been previously. It was clear they provided the minimum to save money. Will go somewhere else next time

Great food, good sizes.my wife is a vegetarian and was impressed with the food.beers are cold.what more can you ask for

The girl at the bar ignored us. Continuously asked her to serve us but she kept ignoring.
Talked to the manager of the bar and she backed her up as well.

Just enjoyed Christmas lunch at Lakers Tavern. Very nice meal, service was exceptional. Will be booking again next year.

Had Christmas lunch here, the food was lovely, the staff were great, and a lovely Christmassy atmosphere!

Poor taste, quality, and service.

Ordered med rare steak advertised at 200g however what I got looked like 100g and the steak was already chopped up.
Steak was tough as hell, still chewing till the next day.
Can just imagine someone like Gordan Ramsey ripping into the place for screwing up a simple steak.

Ordered a steak through the tap and pay, and found out they didn't put the order through. Waiting an hour before asking and getting an order through to the kitchen.

and who the hell cuts the steak in half and serves it as small pieces at a restaurant?
First I've seen.

Advice for others:
Never do tap order and pay, seems like this taven isn't good with technology;

-Paid for it thinking tap and pay using the barcode would make it easier on the staff. However backfired when they didn't put the order through, after an hour of waiting.

Food's pretty good, I'd stay away from the steak though cos I could cook you one better myself, it's become home for me now and the staff are a good bunch.

We come here often because big lovely meals with good pricing very friendly staff who always joke around with our young son

Was told the Tavern had a bad history, well definitely no sign of that. Great priced drinks (pint of beer and large glass of wine $16) Enjoyed out in the beer garden with lots of tables and seats. Then dined in excellent service from the very helpful and friendly staff. Noticed a mix of people, young and old. Definitely going back!

We rang and they were booked out, but said we could sit in the bar area, however when we got there they found us a table in the Bistro. Lovely Bisto setting with fire place. Staff were incredibly friendly. Meals were lovely, standard pub fare, had some good specials, well priced and quick service.

The toughest steak I've ever tried to eat. It was tasty enough but I had to cut it into 10mm squares to manage it. Should have used it to re-sole my thongs

We recently held a function for our hockey clubs end of season wind up. We were very impressed, from the first enquiry Jess was amazing and so helpful. On the night the room was fully set up for us and they had printed custom menu's for us which was a nice surprise. The wait staff were great and the food was excellent.

Chef was having a bad day. We ordered the Garlic prawns and rice. The rice was cold and the sauce was watery. Not at all appertizing o a cold wintery night.
