Lakers Tavern

To be honest that was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, the chicken parmigiana was over cooked and dry and the chip massively overcooked. I would suggest that the chef be retrained or maybe another more experienced chef to brought onboard to provide guidance.

Great for a drink and snacks after work, when you're in the pub area.
Nice food in the restaurant. We do like Lakers.

Came for lunch today and WOW the food was AMAZING!

The Porterhouse Steak was cooked to perfection. The Malaysian Curried Lamb Shank was so flavoursome. COMPLEMENTS to the chef.

Staff were friendly and attentive

They were very accomodating for a super last minute walk in of 20 people including 10 kids. For a Saturday night this was a nice surprise. The staff prepared the dining room for us in the restaurant even though they already had another function! The service was amazing they were very friendly and the food was great pub food!

Had the share plate of lemon pepper squid, good idea not to share if you are hungry. Also had pepper sauce and chips. Better serving size than the squid. So wont order the squid again.

Cosy place to meet with friends and family. Both my friend and I ordered barramundi. It was delicious.
Service with a smile from Brie and the guy at the counter.
Will be added to my favourite place.

Nice place, good music and always have happy hour. And always have at least two beers on special.thats how you keep your customers coming back.good job management.

Very nice pub with lots of different dti is and food to choose from, friendly atmosphere and beautiful decor and great venue all round for every type of person.

Love coming here, however the service from one of the girls was appalling! I work in hospitality and understand it’s a frustrating job but I would never treat customers the way she did

Went as part of a work Christmas party. Lunchtime on a Thursday before the holiday break. The boss booked a large table in a closed section. The tavern was not particularly full, just a normal number of people there. The food and service were both below average. Steak was tough. The bar person seemed unhappy to be there. Prices were a bit too high for what it is.

Service, ummm no service for 45 mins, fish and chips - fish tasted a little off, chips were obviously under a heat lamp. Overall, nope, won't be back

Sorry but pretty poor tonight. Greasy spring rolls. Cold tacos and overall disappointing food.

Slow service had to ask 3 time to get some drink orders at our table as we had a big group.had to go to counter for coffee order aswell not the 1st time with average at best service

Love lakers. The food, cocktails/drinks, friendly staff and the location for us makes this a great place to catch up with friends and family.

Us cocktail hunters in Perth enjoyed a wonderful watermelon margarita! Coke keeps us up all night so as requested we opted for pineapple juice or lemonade in our Long Island iced tea but alas, we were told this cannot be done at all, no ifs or butts! This is the first time in over 100+ pubs this has happened, now my girlfriend is stuck with me annoying her all night and she hates you

Had a burger and swapped the beef burger out for what they described as a ‘veggie’ burger however when I got the meal it looked like a real meat burger as it was pink inside. They confirmed it was one of the meatless burgers that look like meat (fine with that, just should state that on the menu)
But overall the burger was pretty average. They didn’t put any cheese on it either so it was quite dry overall. Looks like a good place to hang out with friends and watch sport though over some beer.

The female toilets today were disgusting! The were floors flooded and one of the three toilets were blocked!
Installing new toilet roll holders does not justify the state of these toilets, neither does the excuse of 'the toilets are being refurbished' which has been used for the past YEAR qualifies for a reason.
A collective response from regular patrons see this as a tired excuse and the managers have proved they are full rubbish.

Lamb tacos and arancini were nice off the starters menu, only drawback was paying $45 for a steak you think you’d get some nice quality veggies like broccolini or asparagus and not half cooked frozen veg. Steak was cooked well though.

Came to the Lakers Tavern before my birthday very disappointing the meals were all very slow and some didn't turn up until everyone else had finished the service at the bar was ridiculously slow apparently the QR code system broke down it will be going somewhere else next time our first experience add a different time when it was busier was great we had our meal served in 10 minutes

Spent the afternoon there yesterday (28th May 2022) 6 of us drinking various beers. By the time we got from the bar to the outside table the beers were flat. 30yrs in the bar trade. This shows either dirty glasses, dirty taps or both. For $12 per pint, I was extremely dissapointed. Up your act Lakers, owe and another point, your bar service is shocking!
