Lake St Liquor Supply reviews
60115 dollars for a bottle of 700mL of grey goose.they try to con you by saying they only buy in small quantities, if true the lower qualities will decrease price, rather than almost tripling it.
Over charged me for a six pack of Jim Beam. $52.00 when it is actually $35 will never go back there.
An actual scam, paid 65 dollars for a 10 pack and it's 45 everywhere else over priced drinks basically ripping people off.
Very expensive. No price labels. 1x Sapporo can $14. Took it straight back to the fridge. Would rather sponsor the homeless.
Rude customer service as soon as I walked in. I bought a small bottle of smirnoff (very expensive). Got out the shop and realised it was leaking. It had been opened already and I’m pretty sure swapped with water. Don’t go here wasted my money
I chose 18.99bucks temporanilo for my dimsum lunch around the corner and she said “19dollars.we have no eftpos no paypass! ” I thought she was upset somehow. I said I will come back with cash and came back in 3minutes and I tried to grab the bottle. She said “28dollars” “But you said 19dollars just before? ” She said (i cannot believe this) ” Now it is 28dollars it was marked wrong! ” “But you can’t do that, I just got the cash for the bottle. ” She shouted at me “Now it’s 28dollars and if you don’t want it OUT! ” And repeated “OUT! OUT! ” I said “You are being rude to me” She shouted at me again “You are rude too! OUT! ”
I got lost. The most shocking experience I ever had in any shop. Please do not go to this place. I don’t even want to give one star.
These guys have some seriously good reds including some nice vintages from their cellar. For the people saying it’s expensive it is for some things but if you hunt about you’ll find some good deals.
Lovely place, nice staff, don't listen to the haters, they're open late when everything else is closed, and in the middle of drunk central. They're heros.
My experience at the Lake Street store was positive. I purchased a bottle of red wine which was only about $3 above BWS and I chatted with the charming Italian Lady for some time
No prices outdated wines overpriced and they are so rude. AVOID AT ALL COST.
HEAD TO WILLAMS ST OPPOSITE COCONUT GROVE
Incredible business. Happy to pay whatever the kind elderly woman behind the counter - working so feverishly - would ask of me. Mad props to Wilson 'Kingpin' Fisk for manning the door so bravely. Truley the real life interprtation of 'if man became brick wall'. Oh so many times a night is the mighty pin tested, yet no single phone has come out alive. I buy all my liquor here - aged in store or not - and I implore you to also:)
Different price for the same bottle of wine lol. I don't think the managers of this business have heard the terms cogs or GP before. Embarrassing.
It's your traditional liquor shop. There's a great range of local and imported beers and plenty of Aussie wine.
The staff are friendly and they know their product.
Definately worth checking out.
I first found this place with a housemate French guy Julien. I have been there with him a few times before. Yes, price is slightly higher and felt rigid service. Now I have been to the shop once everyday for the last one month. Trust me, when they feel like they connect with us, they are indeed really good people. Its just that some circumstances made them feel stricter. I feel the mother, the daughter and the security guard all have stories to tell us. They must have seen some ups and downs. If you respect them, they treat you back very good. Just tonight, the wine I was looking for was sold out. And the beautiful lady actually gave me a discount for the next wine. I only wish all the best for the old lady, her daughter and the security guard. For all the haters, look yourself at the mirror before you judge this place. For all the potential customers, please visit this shop with a smile, respect and kindness and you will be served from the heart and you can sense these beautiful souls. May God help us all to live in harmony and let everyone have their dignity. Take respect, give respect. As a customer, if you are rude, the shopkeeper will be rude. But as a customer, if you are polite, you will find genuine service with a good heart. Amen!
Hours fluctuate, but it's your general bottle shop store, good enough range, enjoy if your west coasting it and in and around north bridge area.
Well stocked.
Very friedly young lady.
Why go anywhere else.
Easily accessible to all Northridge restaurants
Do it.
Revoke their license. Staff are so rude and I witnessed the manager being extremely racist not even allowing an indigenous woman (who was clearly not drunk) to enter the store. Shame on you. Wish I could give them zero stars
We've been to so many bottleshop, this 1 is d worst, if 0 rating available that suits them well, d most rude staff ever.no price tags n alcohols 2x prices than other shops!
This place should be called Thornlie Station the way I get robbed every time I enter this place
Person randomly shouts out prices of goods when you bring them to the till. Other person who was actually serving was embarrassed by some of the prices. But hey they're open when others aren't.
