La Sosta

DON'T do an online booking, as they will just take your deposit if you need to change anything/reschedule (even DAYS before).
They provide cyclical and useless instructions to change a booking online (doesn't work), and then tell you to call them.
Problem is they never answer the phone, and their message bank is full. No response to emails either.
You are better off burning your money, or dining at the 1000 other Italian restaurants out there.

Beautiful family run business with incredible service and delicious wine. Cannot go past the ravioli! Would suggest as a must visit when in Freemantle!

Could not recommend the gnocchi making class enough! Myself and my family had so much fun. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and friendly. Perfect activity for the weekend and well worth the money.

Booked this by chance as our original choice was booked out. Wow! That was a stroke of luck as La Sosta was fantastic. Being greeted by what seemed the owner was pleasant and the whole atmosphere was as authentic Italian as you could get.

Now the food! Absolutely first class both our meals were perfect. The service from the drink waiters and food waitress was exemplary.

Hats off the La Sosta for making our evening memorable.

Beautiful restaurant! Very spacious and crisp. The service was perfect. We had a somewhat unruly young baby with us and they still all paid attention to and spoke to her as much as they did to us. The food was extremely good, but the portions were very small (but expensive). Maybe I didn’t realise it was such fine dining. We ate second dinner a few hours later. But my husband said it was the best ravioli he’s ever had and he always just says everything is “not bad”. I could eat the lasagnole every day for forever.

My husband and I have been to La Sosta multiple times, always amazing food and service. I recently took my parents for lunch. My dad is quite elderly and needs some assistance. The staff were amazing, without being asked they catered my dad's needs for the lift and paid him a lot of attention with jokes (which he loved). It was wonderful to go somewhere with amazing fresh food and to also not have to worry about how my parents would be treated. We were taken care of like family. Thanks again, and we'll be back many more times, I'm sure!

La sosta is one of my favourite restaurants. My partner and I make an effort to attend monthly. We love the atmosphere, food and most importantly the service. We always feel like family when returning back to La Sosta. It’s always nice following up on conversations and feeling like you’re truely welcomed. Not to mention the food is amazing and will leave you dreaming of the next time you can taste it. This is such a special place for us that we even celebrated our engagement here. If you’re looking for the real Italian experience make sure you give this spot a try or two!

Absolutely impeccable hospitality! It was a last minute birthday booking that grew from 10 to 13. Martel and team never said no once — I previously rang another Italian restaurant who made me feel like I was begging for help. From squeezing our booking in, to organising a cake, La Sosta has been unreal! And our attending server was an absolute gem. Food as always is amazing! We could have been stranded without a place. I can’t believe that there actually is a restaurant that takes pride in being of genuine service to others. La sosta tops any restaurant I’ve been to ever! THANK YOU MARTEL AND TEAM!

Delicious food, very good service and nice environment. That's our second time there, the first was a date night and the second a dinner with our toddler, both very enjoyable. Will be back!
