The gorgeous guy (didn't catch your name sorry) at the Claremont store with black rimmed glasses is so lovely every time I visit, he was really knowledgeable about the product and has been very attentive and helpful every time I shop! ️️

Service average and not cheap. Just another overpriced overated establishment which fits right in at Claremont.

Drinks were good. Service was a bit slow, the person who served us had a super dirty mask, probably from handling coffee or chocolate then touching his mask a little too much. That was little off-putting.

Attended the shop today and bought a bon bon of stars and prancing prawns box at appr 1220. I asked the lady who put the things through if they still put black decorative paper inside the bag, she did not reply. I asked again politely. She responded in a rude manner saying Did not you just ask me that. I said yes but did not receive an answer. She said I m busy with something else now. She was changing a bag for my friend. Sha said than they did not have any paper. I felt she was rude, irritable and should not talk to customers this way. Prior to this it was my favorite place.

I've always enjoyed my visit to Koko Black, they have great selection of chocolates for our household and as a gift which they can help with the ribbon etc to make it extra special. However, I found their Belgian hot chocolate to be inconsistent. For the price, I expect a good amount of chocolate in it. It's less chocolatey today than usual and less thicker. Slightly disappointed.

Most amazing service today.
I’ve never shopped here before and I think I walked into heaven. I was served by Jeff and oh my gosh if I had more time I would’ve emptied my bank they recommended so many options and wrapped so beautifully and overall incredible customer service. The great experiences like that make your day!
My tastebuds have never been so happy!

Love Koko black chocolate. Quality is great and I think the price is reasonable for what you're buying.

My wife called Thurs 21/10 for lunch with a friend and elected to have the avo on toast at a cost of $11. Unfortunately the toast was just a plain slice of "Tip Top" type bread toasted. Nothing imaginative. What about some "Lawleys Sourdough"? The meal was laden with salt and pepper.no S&P shakers on the table. Pretty ordinary really. What happens to the patron who is on a strict no salt diet?
Some thought need to be given to the meals if they are going to serve them

The best chocolate cafe in Perth, in my opinion! Their hot chocolates come in many different flavours like classic, chilli (one of my favorites), mocha and hazelnut. Their baristas do a great job. The coffee is never burnt and the chocolate is rich and decedent. There is table service here too and the staff are quite friendly. I recommend you give it a try!

The chocolate truffles and pralines are amazing. Pricey but absolutely worth it as a treat.
Hot chocolate is also excellent.

My partner was trying to order and was being nice complementing the gelato. He was told by staff to “Just order cause they’re not interested”. He left disappointed of course not buying anything cause he found a new favorite ice cream but staff was super rude and he does not want to support a business with rude staff.

TERRIBLE customer service. We were waiting for this lady to take the order. She came to clean the table then then took off to clean another table, completely ignore us. Arrogant waiter. Will not come again. Girl that does the coffees. Top girl.

Staff have a sense of humor so when you come in with a desperate need for a pick-me- up you will leave feeling uplifted. It helps that the food and bev are also made from food beans, lovingly fashioned into food fit for the gods but now, thanks to Koko also available for us mere mortals.

The shop section is so tempting! I highly recommend the strawberry bites covered in milk chocolate, I could eat a whole packet in 5 minutes. They are bomb. If you're wanting a chocolate overload, Koko Black is it. Their Belgium hot chocolate is so chocolatey, may be a bit sickening to those who aren't obsessed with chocolate. They're waffles are also really good! 10/10

Ordered a box of chocolates online yesterday as a last minute anniversary gift. Shorty after I received a phone call that my order was sold out. Without asking i was upgraded to a larger box that was considerably more expensive free of charge. Amazing service and the chocolates are even better thank you

Yes, very nice chocolates. But.after probably the 5th time of dropping in for a coffee and tea after shopping, my wife still can't get a slice of lemon in her tea. Everywhere else in THE WORLD that sells a cup of tea, we can get a slice of lemon in it. But here, in Claremont, the most expensive area in the one of the richest mining states in the world, the staff just refuse to walk 50m to the grocery store and buy a 50 cent lemon to give the customer what they want. Why is it so hard? 5th and last time. There are plenty of other places to buy a cup of tea. (lemons even keep in the feezer. Now there's a thought).

A quality chocolatier chain. You could dine in or take away coffee, hot chocolate and chocolate desserts. I love the fresh brownies made with 75% dark chocolate. It opens late so good to have a chat with friends after dinner over chocolate!

How far this place has fallen. I used to love Koko Black and the decline has been gradual but steady. Today I realised that it truly is a completely different place just sharing the name. Most of the great dessert items on the menu had already been massively scaled back in quality and quantity to the point where they were basically a different dessert altogether with the same name, and then ultimately disappeared; the salted caramel delice for example. The great table service has been replaced by ordering at the counter and a take it or leave it sort of attitude, but this was something we only realised after sitting at our table for 10 minutes wondering where everyone was and why it was so hard to get someone’s attention. There’s no mention of these changes anywhere, you’re left to figure it out for yourself. The desserts that are left on the menu pale in comparison to their glory days. Such a tragic decline of a once great place.
