Kendenup Cottages and Lodge reviews
52Absolutely fantastic. Love the Friday night pizzas around the fire too. Great addition and Jane just makes everything perfect!
I cannot recommend the food here enough!
It is very well priced & absolutely delicious!
Jane is an exceptional host nothing is too much trouble, the room was pristine and the surrounding grounds were nothing I had seen before. Therefore I would recommend a visit to anyone who wants a relaxed welcoming visit that you would want to return again and again
We stayed here for 1 night. Country living experience with in budget. Dirt bike, dirts, bbq spot and have individual rooms and cottages with a large room that sleeps 8 people. Really liked the calm and peaceful setting.
Great location for the Stirling ranges and only 40to 50 mins into Albany, very clean very quiet and peaceful lovely friendly hosts, mount barker is 8k away from here for supplies, nice views all around.we stayed in the green cottage.
Pretty good spot, bit of a drive for 90% of the walks in the Stirling and Porongurups but close to MtBarker.
Really friendly people and clean rooms
A little small and the communal areas are a bit tight for the number of people possibly staying.
All in all we had a great time, walked the trails and enjoyed the surroundings
Quiet location a pleasant drive from Albany, spacious comfortable room, wide open parking, excellent hospitality.
The most amazing place we have stayed in the Great Southern. Scenery is to die for! Great hosts.
We booked a cottage for $352 for a night during post Christmas period. Apparently they moved us to Blue Cottage at the 11th hour from originally allotted Green Cottage - to accommodate a new family.
The place is elegant and well furnished.
However, there were no supplies in the bath room. There was no warning about mosquitoes and we all were scratching at midnight.
This is advertised as accommodation with wifi but one needs to travel over 100 meters from the cottage to get wifi signal from the office - if one is that desperate.
We were disappointed because we didn't expect misinformation and, this level of shabby management.
Absolutely immaculate. Rooms and kitchen area spotless. Staff was very helpful. Highly recommended.
Okay rooms, but horrible customer service, breakfast and experience. This was the only option around and it was appalling! Would not stay again.
Although people we know had problems with this place being flakey and unprofessional, we still had to stay there because there wasn't many other option. We could not even get a decent coffee or a glass of orange juice without the staff acting as if we were asking for a personal sacrifice. There weren't even double beds in any of the rooms, we had to push 2 single beds together. The breakfast consisted of soggy eggs, fatty bits of bacon and toast. When mentioned the exorbitant price of breakfast, the catty young man responded with, and I quote, "Well, if you can make breakfast in Kendenup for under $30, you're welcome to it. " What a sad waste of money and time.
