Kalamunda Hotel

We used the upstairs Boardroom for pre-wedding food and drinks. The service was fantastic and food excellent. My Great Uncle Paddy would be proud

Excellent food although the portion sizes are very large. Fortunately they do have senior and kids sizes meals as well.

We had Xmas lunch 2023 at the Kalamunda Hotel with our 2 sons and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the meal well organised, not rushed.

I recently organised a local volunteer annual awards night at the Kalamunda Hotel (KH). The staff were patient in planning this night, diligent with meeting our budget, easy to communicate with, met our dietary requirements, and the food was terrific especially the filet mignon. Thank you.

We have been coming here for years. I currently live an hour away but we still drive up once a month with my mum and my granddaughter (another generation of visitors).

Used their at table order system, place was quiet and it took 12 minutes to get the drinks, and they didn't care. If the place is quiet, order at the bar.

Had a recent birthday party in the upstairs function room. Absolutely awesome. Great food, private bar. Excellent selection of drinks. Staff very accommodating. Thanks to Stephanie, Chelsea, Nathaniel. Definite repeat customer.

I would 10/10 recommend Kalamunda Hotel and it's extremely polite & efficient staff if you need to hire a medium/large room for events or functions!

They allowed us to host our Engagement Party in the events room upstairs, sectioned off from the rest of the happy crowd downstairs, and it was a huge delight and success all round. They catered for everything we asked for & more and went above and beyond to ensure the party remained on track!

We thank the events manager and the bar staff from the bottom of our hearts for being extremely courteous to our close friends & family and for an amazing night of professional hospitality:)

I grew up in Kalamunda and hold the Kalamunda hotel very dear to my heart, I have seen the best and worst of the hotel and can confidently say it’s at its absolute best right now! We were able to hire the entire upstairs area for a function the other week for an unbelievably reasonable price and so much freedom to ensure we had everything we wanted on the night! The food provided by the hotel is absolutely amazing and the staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely fast! No one was left waiting for a drink, Nic deserves a raise in particular! Everyone was amazed how fantastic the venue was with the exact vintage feel we were after this history of the hotel is amazing and the memories we made will last forever I cannot explain just how accomodating the events manager is we didn’t hear her say no once and she even managed to provide a stage for our live music! I cannot recommend the Kalamunda hotel enough for both functions or just a casual place to catch up with the locals more they have really lifted the bar, no pun intended.

Food is ok.ish. The lamb shank was great but the surrounding mush was pretty average.
Hells own pricing for a pint of cider at $11.50 per glass. Seriously?

Food disappointing not much to choose from in kalamunda, I know it's pub food but sloppy doesn't look fresh

Excellent food, I got my meal 10 minutes before my partner which was disappointing! I had the fish and chips which were delicious and my partner had the Shepherds pie a little to much cheese but tasty.

Meal was terrible I had a parmi not the best hubby had a steak wanted rare was well done plus was we could take our little dog in and the beer was cold

Not a massive pub. General pub grub. There are other spaces in Kalamunda I'd probably choose to eat/drink at over this

We had a really great experience. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. On top of our meals, we had desserts (apple crumble with ice creams and custard) and vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle and a Freddo frog for the kids.

Food portions are very generous for price and service was slick and friendly on my visit. Good range of food and drinks to suit any palate.
I went on a Friday for lunch.

Went for fathers day lunch and ordered a steak sandwich, which I have had many time before and enjoyed very much.

The latest offering was nothing short of disgusting. The worst steak sandwich I have ever tasted. Takes a lot for me to complain about food. Explanation was change of menu, if that's the case, I won't be back until it changes back.
