Kabul Cafe reviews
51Delicious food, often I just come in for their fresh bread. I come in with my family and we are always treated well and staff are considerate. A bit pricey but it is worth it!
Ordered 2 kebabs with the lot and one with no onions to takeaway, but found at home two quite bland kebabs with no "the lot" and onion in the second kebab. Very disappointed
Totally disappointed with the behaviour. Specially the checkout guy needs to learn how to behave well.
The best kebab place in Perth. I've been eating here for over four years and never had a bad meal. It's quite convenient. You should try their Shish Kebab Meal, which is quite tasty.
Rubbish services. Lying and discriminant staff. I will recommend this place to any decent family. They will take order and make you wait and then lie that they are out of stock where infact they served one they know. When you enquire they will lie and make all excuses.
Best afghan kebab in town so far with reasonable price $27 for a meal (3 large skewers with fresh afghan bread or Basmati Rice called Ghaboli). Although limited space for guests nearly 30 people at a time. They are quite busy on weekend's nights so book in advance. It is not a fancy place so dont expect a luxury cafe, it is average place with friendly staffs and good dish.
This place is excellent. I recommend you take the traditional ‘on the ground’ carpeted seating for your meal and try their Kabul rice. It doubles up as a basic grocery store too.
Food is just OK and customer service is very poor guy was on reception was not happy probably f
Good kebabs and fantastic chicken biryani. Most items on the menu are good. The staff seems a bit shy and their system of payment can be improved. You have to pay at a different counter and order at a different counter
Very traditional and nice however I was expecting it to be more like a restaurant then a supermarket
This cafe is terrible we ordered lamb kebabs thinking ir was mince ones got home to discover tough horrible lamb went back they were downright rude did not offer to change things for us we will never be back
The owner is so rude on the phone call. He hangs up straight away. Worst customer service. He has lost his more than 100 customers now. Be rude to more and get your shop closed!
Prices are steep for what you get.
They also don’t give you Tap water. Why? “We don’t know if the tap water is clean or not, which is why we can’t give out tap water”. So is the tap water you use in your food and to wash utensils safe?
And why force customers to hurt the environment with bottled water?
Order all wrong when delivered spent $50 and chucked away $35 worth of food! They refussed to fix there error! Dont order from here!
Kebabs? This is THE place. Simple, very fresh, tasty. The rice.to die for. I highly recommend. Good value. Just wonderful.
No customer service and food wasn’t fresh. I was recommended but unfortunately not a nice experience.
More than a cafe.mini market as well.lot's of spices and seeds available, well worth exploring while waiting for your order. We had lamb kebabs today and they tasted great.
Will definitely be going back
Great authentic Afghan food. A very unusual place to dine in Perth. True Afghani ambiance where you sit down in a traditional style on hand-woven Afghani silk carpets and the food is served in huge platters. Food is delicious and gives a feeling of having a quick trip to the valley of Kabul. The Kabuli Pulao is a must try, in addition to the meat skewers, available in chicken, lamb and beef. Their traditional Afghan bread (Nan) is delicious and tastes great when warm. Family-friendly atmosphere with a little Afghan grocery shop within the restaurant. A must-try if you dare to be different and like to try some unusual food in a unique environment.
Tikka and the green chatnni. Great combination. Although owner is a dickhead. The short bald guy. No manners or what so ever. One at least needs to be curteous around customers.
