Jamaica Blue Willetton Southlands reviews
45Nice place to enjoy a snack or just a drink (tea or coffee). Pleasant atmosphere. Efficient staff.
While doing the shopping ️ in Willetton this is a great place to take a break and have this lovely Coffee ️
Had fish and chips for lunch, disappointed with the fish. It was more like 2 fish fingers with a serve of chips.
I ordered the smoked salmon with potato rosti. I sent it back as the rosti was soggy, the spinach was wilted, the poached egg was overcooked! I was also a little suspicious of the salmon being warm… I wonder if it was pre made and then microwaved? The coffee was good and my mum enjoyed her waffle. I was offered a refund.
Pricey for the amount of food you get on your plate but the smoked salmon poached egg potato was good. Presented well and cooked well. The middle aged staff are great, younger bloke seemed like he didn't want to be there. Very clean inside. 5 stars.
Rarely do i find a really strong coffee and a nice breakfast burger. Strong coffee is essential.
Need to be more polite. Had coffee and was being rushed as they were closing in 30 mins. Very rude
Lovely customer service.but unfortunately my cafe latte was that strong.even after adding 3 sugars I couldn't drink it!
A place to relax with friends or mates whilst enjoying a cuppa. Good ambience and location. Prices reasonable.
I used to visit this cafe every single day! I love it, it has great coffee and food, beautiful friendly staff all of whom I miss seeing! When the mandates are gone, perhaps I will be able to return and will review my rating to five stars (as it should be!)
Very friendly staff always.food is good but i would say it’s on the more pricey side.great atmosphere and clean restaurant
Saturday morning 8th Jan. The two young gentlemen either taking orders or serving are great for your business. Nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast bacon and egg burger was the best I've ever eaten. This cafe leaves all the other fast food outlets for dead.
Was there on Sunday around 11.30am. Was not very busy. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good prices and most important: the coffee (Jamaika blue Signature, regular 5.50$) was very delicious, the almond-orange cake (around 5/5.50$) was the best almond-orange I ever had so far!
Waitress messed up our order, i had no breakfast. I asked the waitress twice where my food was, she didnt come back both times.when i asked yet again the manager got involved, there was no sorry or apology, just a bad luck your order was done wrong. Poor hospitality for their mistake.
I used to go there weekly, i wont be going back.
It was busy but not too crowded. Very noisy as everyone was happy to be out on a sunny day! Service was prompt but girl was too much in a hurry to get the coffees off the tray and 2 out of 3 coffees had spills into their saucers. Serviettes were brought for such but one Serviette was actually not enough there was so much coffee in the saucer in the long black. Disappointing.
Otherwise good.
Clean and modern coffee. Ten of ordered a variety of drinks, nobody complained. Staff was efficient. Went at 10 am and plenty of seats left, good ambience, well behaved customers, better coffee than Mccas thats for sure
Please do not expect good coffee from chain cafes unless you just want a place to sit down and get some works done
Nice setting. A menu item said "2 eggs how you like with toast". So I ordered "the 2 eggs, fried please" with some other items for our table of 3. The whole order seemed expensive (52 bucks for 3 ppl and only 2 of us eating) but didn't query it. I should have. The girl had rung up 2 lots of 2 eggs with toast! Any way, was too hard to have the debate so we shared them amongst our group and swallowed the unexpected charge of 15 bucks for them.
Also ordered raspberry pancakes for my young daughter. We thought classic indulgence for a kid. They came out covered in oats! Not the treat we were expecting. Wasn't wanted so also shared amongst the group. Hot chocolate was good, pot of tea was good, I ordered a latte, tasted a bit like what you'd have gotten in Siberia during the cold war. Gnarly.
I have given this place a 5-stars for its nice coffee in a warm cup. However, I'm absolutely disappointed in the coffee today for the flat white with soy milk. There is no coffee taste but a strong strange soy milk taste. The staff is nice enough to replace another cup but it is still the same, so different from the many previous visits to this place. Both cups of coffee were literally undrunk. I'll be happier if the staff has offered a refund.
