Jackadder Lake Reserve reviews
49Nestle in the tranquillity and peace of the Lake and its surrounds. Well thought-out and designed pathways for a walk, a run with strategically located exercise stations, a playground for children, BBQ facilities, picnic areas and toilets. Above all, the blackswans, ducks, and birds will surely entice you to want to stay longer and to return, time and time again. Refreshments and good food and a grocer are readily available close by for convenience. You'll not be disappointed!
Amazing park that provides everything you need. A newly renovated playground, BBQ & sitting area, toilets, trails for walking/biking, exercise equipments, a lake and a great view. My kids love observing the duckies. Restaurants and shops are also nearby. Perfect for walking, picnic or taking the kids out to play
Stayed not far from here. Lovely place and we walked round many times. Great to watch wildlife, exercise round or have a picnic.
Have monthly food van events on. Great place to take your dog for a walk or if you feel like some exercise have basic fitness equipment stops around the lake plus plenty of birdlife. A good sized playground with clean sand and new equipment. A small picnic area and some restrooms. Lots of trees and prickle-free grass. Water looks and smells clean but I wouldn't swim in it.
Beautiful place to spend a day outdoors. Plenty of space for bday celebrations, bbqs or parents with kids.
Very nice park with a walk path around the lake.
Dogs welcome picnic and playground areas

Small lake with surrounding green space located in Woodlands. On some weekends, there are people sailing miniature boats. Watch out for the black swans.
Nice place to visit, beautiful grass and shady trees. The lake was full of birds. Enjoyable to walk around the lake on the path.
Had a nice and simple picnic. Nice 20 minute walk around lake with ducks and pretty lake. Adequate benches and quiet a big playground. Has a toilet facility and drink fountains.
Great location with beautiful surrounds but the white cockatoo ruin it. The noise at night is unbearable and detracts from the location.
The sharks in the lake made it kinda sketchy but keep your kids on the playground it's pretty safe I guess.
Let me tell you.the amazing power of trees! Was at Jackadder on a 40degree day for a friends bday and under that amazing canopy it didn't even feel 30degrees
Plant a tree
Great park for the kids with a big play area. The park has a path around the lake so can scooter or ride. There is also BBQ facilities. Just be aware that it can be a breeze in late afternoon. It is also a great place to take a break and read a book looking over the lake. Nearby there are shops to grab a coffee.
Absolutely beautiful park with a nice lake, walk trail, bbq facilities, toilet, playground, lots of shade.there were some people with remote controlled yachts too!
Small but pleasant park, with a mini-lake, which always adds a lot to the atmosphere.
Park amenities are fine (plenty of tables and benches; public toilets), and on top of that it’s right across the road from a tiny shopping centre that also has a restaurant and a surprisingly large cafe.
Small venue and old. Not much parking and because it rained the extra parking area was quite a distance to walk.
Just such a peaceful walk around this lovely lake. Bird life is special And when the sailboats are racing, always something interesting to watch!
Small lake ideal for a quick 20m stroll, with wildfowl and frogs, and on summer weekends radio- controlled model yachts! And just over the road are Cafes and a supermarket
A lovely spot for a picnic or family gathering. We had my grandson's 2nd birthday party there, and the kids a had a ball, because the Jackaddar Lake Reserve was full of ducks that my grandchildren could feed. There is a children's playground with slides, swings, and other child-safe equipment. A great location with plenty of open grassland. Ample parking bordering the reserve.
