Great place for large family gatherings. Wonderful playground, grassed areas and paths around the lake. Toilets were not too clean.

Great place to enjoy nature. Pretty lake. Lake has prolific bird life. Our dog loves going for walks around the lake.

Great place for a family picnic. Lots of shady trees looking over the lake, and a playground for the kids, with lots of ducks and other water birds to see. Allround very please location.

A beautiful location for a picnic or walk. Plenty of amenities including toilets, drinking fountains, seating and tables. The natural fauna provides free entertainment.

Hasn't changed much since i went here as a kid 30 odd years ago. Just the new play equipment and maintenance. Small, but pretty walk around the lake. Often has RC Boats being sailed on it near the shopping centre block. Plenty of nice spots to sit, toilets, and a few bbqs for public use.

Kiddo absolutely loves it. Wifey and me love it for the quietness and not so overly crowded with other kids.

Will definitely reccommend to bring your toodlers there. Just fun even to sit down by the lake, in good weather of course!

Nice walk around the lake. Joggers have distance markers. My grandson loves being timed between them. He's only 3. Met some friendly ppl on the walks around each evening. Lots of dog walkers but largely very responsible. If you live in the area must be great to have this on your door step. At the weekend there is a model boat club sailing remote control boats. Great to watch. They certainly can move! Pub just off the lake too. Also children's playground. What could be better?

Toilet facilities could be cleaned for often as the park is used by many. Soap could also be made available
Thanks

Amazing park surrounding a beautiful lake. The waking path around the lake is to quality and regularly filled with dog walkers, exercisers, and kids on bikes, blades and scooters. Dotted around the lake are permanent outdoor exercise machines that get a good use by people of all ages, including kids having a go, hardcore fitness gurus smashing it out, as well as retirees keeping their fitness up. There is also a huge playground that is protected from the sun by shade sails during the summer with toilet facilities nearby and plenty of picnic area.

A beautiful, natural lake with wildlife and tall, shady old trees. Tables and benches on green grass, exercise equipment dotted around and a charming shopping precinct with two bakeries close by across the road.

Lovely place for a family picnic or stroll around the lake. Gets busy but you want that sometimes, and is dog friendly.

Extremely well kept, perfect for locals and tourist to walk or cycle. Barbecue and Picnic facilities available, shops and cafe's close by.

Many of the beautiful bird species that frequent the Herdsman Wildlife Reserve occasionally stop by Jackadder Lake.

Also if your lucky you may get a chance to watch the amazing model yachts race. A big thank you to the amazing team at the City of Stirling making our region one of the best in Australia!

p.s. There is also fitness equipment stationed around the lake

It's a good playground, with a convenient parking area and BBQ. However it is more appropriate for young children. This time of the year there are magpies nesting (lots of them, if you consider the many signs and notices around the park) and part of the park is not accessible for this reason.

Lovely little lake to take young kids cycling around. Great cafe nearby for coffee and ice cream. Large playground if the kids still have energy

It's an open natural lake, good place for kids, available toilets, too many parkings, Barbeque available.
