Ippudo Kings Square reviews
64Food was good but understaffed and also water jugs are behind the desk, it was a hot day and had to wait quite a while and put a lot of effort into getting attention of staff to get water. It's not pleasant to eat food while you're so thirsty: (Would give it a 4 other than that but please address the water issue
Had the Ippudo Kuro special and it was amazing! Perfectly cooked noodled. Loved the black garlic flavour. Not as spicy as I thought and wanted it to be but still a great meal. Open space as opposed to tightly packed restuarant. Great feels
Tried to go to the store today however after waiting in the queue for 20 minutes without being even acknowledged by any of the staff we decided to leave. Another customer had walked in to ask when those of us in queue be seated however they responded by saying they had no idea. More irritatingly, the restaurant had plenty of vacant space, clean and ready for customers yet the staff continued to ignore us. The other Ippudo chain I had visited was excellent and usually I am quiet patient but this was really odd. Worst experience, until they improve their abysmal service I will be going to one of the other ramen outlets in Perth.
I very much like their ramen. My favourite is Tori Shoyu with its clear broth and medium ramen. Waiting time was a bit long, could be because of busy Friday lunch time, but overall very good eating experience, will definitely come back.
Clean. Well organised. Good staff. Good seating. Good toilets. Great service. All seven meals very tastie well worth going there. Adding the special to the Ramon is a good idea. Also the cultural well come makes it interesting
A little pricey, but that's what you get for being smack-bang on King Street, and right on top of the newly sunken railway line. The food is sooooooo tasty.and authentic too. I was really happy to hear this restaurant is spearheaded by a Perth Citizen.
Really great, flavourful ramen at a decent price.
There are a lot of options to suit any appetite. The service is very fast and the food and prices are quite fair and should suit most budgets.
The atmosphere is decent, however a bit loud.
It's Ippudo, what else can is there to say? Things to note though, the limited crab frits are absolutely delicious, and the seared Angus beef with ponzu sauce is to die for.
Seems a bit pricier than your average ramen place but worth it. Very tasty ramen. Love the bao too. Even the cucumber side dish was delicious.
A little pricey but in all honesty I would sacrifice an arm and a nut as payment for just a singular suck of that refined piggy broth. Thanks for existing
Food was good, could be hotter (temperature wise), noodles were not soggy and the food came really fast. Took awhile for the waitresses to notice me but they were polite, overall good service.
Although i sacrifice half my centerlink paycheck to aquire a full suckdown of noodles, i can taste the warcrys of 1000 sumarai in my mouth.
Food was tasty but it's a little pricy and small portion too. Other than that it's a pretty nice place to dine in.
You can enjoy very typical Hakata Ramen with rich pork broth based soup. Ramen was good but side tasted a bit kind of fast food.
Delicious ramen. Egg had a cooler center, but apart from that, definitely a go to meal when in the area. Yummo.
One of my favorite ramen place when I was in Japan finally came to Perth! Love ramen and salmon sushi roll. Good price and great service. Would recommend to anyone craving for nice ramen!
Painful service experience. Don’t come at 8pm as it closing time. No service after 8pm, even though you don’t get kicked out until offical close time at 9pm.
Pay now, leave now. The place is that popular they don’t care about good service.
Waited 45 min to get in at 6pm on a thurs.
Waitresses could be seen running around like headless chooks trying to do multiple things at once rather than focus on one. Many empty seats could be seen from outside? Not sure if they were reserved or if they were trying to preserve a line to look cool. Once in we ordered and food came quick. As a ramen novice looked ok to me. Bowl with the things in it. Yeh ok well done. Tasted not bad. Pretty filling. Not expensive but not cheap either. My ramen by itself was 24 dollars. Staff could do a better job of putting bums in seats or im sure they could squeeze a couple more tables in. Right down the middle on this. 3 stars.
I'm sure the food here is good? We sat for 15 minutes at our table waiting to be served as people around us were being served most of whom had arrived after us. We walked out in disgust.
Waited 45 minutes on a wednesday whilst the reaturant was only half full to be told it was another 30 minute wait. Was meant to be going to a show and had to skip dinner to make it on time. Noone told us the length of the delay or any communication why there was a line when the restaurant was only half full. Poor management.
