Ippudo Kings Square reviews
64 I would not recommend this place.
I went there tonight as it was half price today. It normally costs over $20 for all ramen without any extra topping.
There were many staffs tonight but
it took a while for the staff to come to our table. I kept sending eye contacts to staff but they kept ignoring us.
The soup was not hot, which made ramen less tasty. There was hair in the soup, the taste was not extraordinary considering the price. The portion was small.
After finishing eating, none of the staff asked how everything was.
The only good thing about this place is, I liked the vibe. Looks new and beautiful. Even though with bad food hygiene, bad customer service!
Sorry, but I would recommend another ramen restaurant within walking distance instead of here.
We’ve been here many times and highly recommend it! Lovely venue, amazing food and great service
We’ll be back in soon. Thanks team
Salmon sushi roll is seriously the best! Ramen is good. There may be better ramen spots in Perth but ippudo is reliable.
Addit: bonito ramen is sushi roll was still good. Pork katsu curry was just ok.
Went to eat here after so many people recommended it to me, i ordered the hakata style ramen, the food was delicious, but just before finishing i witnessed a female chef licking/sucking her fingers and proceeding to work as if it didn't happen, she didnt wash her hand, no gloves, nothing. Again food was amazing but the experience was ruined after seeing that.
We are regulars at ippudo. By far our favourite ramen spot in Perth. I usually rotate through the tonkatsu ramen options, but today I had to try the miso ramen (a new menu item that is available for a limited time only). It was excellent. Not as good as the tonkatsu but still 5 star!
My wife always goes for the veggie soba. Highly recommend both options
Lovely ambience to go with my ramen. The katsu was great too. Only drawback was that they weren't serving tap beer on the day, and bottled options weren't great, so I had to opt for unhealthy coke
I've been here for few times and food and service is always amazing.
This time I tried the buns and were delicious all of them.
The signature salmon sushi roll it's a must, very tasty and with tons of flavors
Ramen was perfect, warm and soft.
Just the popcorn octopus was oily and probably I'll not order next time.
The Asahi from the tap was cold and it's always the best option for me.
Overall it's a good Japanese restaurant and as always I'll be back soon.
Always enjoyed food from Ippudo in Perth City. Good is very well flavoured and delicious with great presentation. Seared Salmon Sushi Roll is definitely my favourite here but can’t go wrong with a yummy bowl of ramen. Chicken Karage was a bit salty but flavour was good. Food doesn’t usually take long to arrive at table. Place is clean and well lit, great vibe and lighting. Staff friendliness is a hit and miss depending on the individual waitstaff. Only thing that’s a bit of a pain is finding parking in Perth CBD.
Great and phenomenonal food, the atmosphere was amazing, the staff members were super friendly. The menu was great. Dishes were freshly made.
One of my favourite places in Perth CBD.
Best salmon aburi sushi I’ve ever had, and a great selection of ramen, don, bao and a wide variety of side dishes.
Absolutely loved it, service was great; our waitress very helpful re: sake. Pork & chicken bao buns were very tasty, pork dumplings were a little small, definitely a starter not a main. Only grumble was that it didn't all come out together so some of us were eating, some waiting but if that means we get it hot/fresh then it's all good. Gave us an opportunity to try someone else's dish. Tip: Get there early or book, it's very popular on a Friday and the queue is outside
This is our second visit here, didn't try the bonito tonkotsu last time, but had all the other ramen and some side dishes like the beef tataki and gyoza, so here goes:
Service
friendly & attentive, checks on me at times.
Bonito tonkotsu
some people might not like that fishy taste at the beginning but it changes as you slurp. Tasty, so much umami, I wished there was more broth.
Pricing
My only grief is for 20$ you only get half flavoured egg and not even 1 sea weed sheet. This applies to all other ramen. For extra 7$ you get extra whole egg with chashu and sea weed. Also 2$ for some chopped spring onion? This is just a personal opinion though, as a spring onion lover. (There's a ramen place that offers free infinite amount of eggs and other condiments)
Overall, it was a good experience, not the ramen place I'd go to regularly but definitely will come back if I feel like some bonito tonkotsu ramen.
We have been here a few times. Service was good and food came out quickly. Place was spacious, nice and comfortable. We ordered Tori Karaage don, Bonito Tonkatsu, Tonkatsu ramen, extra chicken Karaage and seaweed.
Their Tori kaarage don and tonkatsu ramen were good, altho not the best, we enjoyed them. Their Bonito tonkatsu was tasty in the beginning but my husband found the flavour got too strong at the end. Price is decent for a Japanese restaurant. They also have a kids menu but very limited to just one type of meal. Overall it was a nice lunch out.
I had forgotten how good Ramen could be. Incredible Tonkotsu broth is the foundation, the only problem is decing which Ramen to have. Went for the one with the Bonito, great choice, but I have never been disappointed with a meal here.
We've been coming to this restaurant for the past two years. The food is amazing. We have not ever been disappointed and have always left feeling satisfied with food, service, and the reasonable prices. I have experienced excellent service from the staff members here. Tonight we came when it was busy and the staff were also very busy. However, they provided excellent, timely service, and the food was still amazing quality. Thank you kitchen staff! Well done Claudia, Kate, and the other waitress who also served us (did not catch her name). Would highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work!
Ippudo Kings Square always a go-to for some tasty ramen. Consistently good quality food provided, can't go wrong! Hope they get Asahi Black back on tap asap!
The food was very good, the place was very tidy. The portions are good, a bit expensive. The only downside is that they got a few chefs when we visited, so our plate is a bit late when serve.but still worth the wait.
Disappointing. They ran out of wagyu beef so no sides containing it were available. Came in with a group of 5. Also beware, no split billing available. Thurs 27/1 - 6pm
One of our favourite Ramen places in Perth. Great food. Good service. Convenient location. Good value. Clean. Very enjoyable.
I have very high standards when it comes to Ramen. As such, I have only previously found 2 ramen restaurants across Australia that have met my expectations. This shop is now the third. Incredible tonkotsu ramen, very tasty, and friendly staff.
Will definitely be my go-to ramen shop in Perth. Very happy!
