IGA Rivervale reviews
48The prices are quite high for certain items, however most items that are "necessities" (ie.milk) are well priced.
Convenient trading hours, they are open early so I can get what I need before and after work, prices are reasonable.
Would rather give no stars. Staff at the shop are rude and dont care. Shop is poorly stocked and overpriced. Occasionally gone off food on shelves. Dont go there if you have another option.
The owner is nasty n prices expensive n there not much variety no fresh veg's or snap snow peas or individual herbs etc
Good store, bit out dated, but overall solid except for the crowd that hangs around being dodgy.
* Edit: They now have heaps more fresh meal options, pre made meals and even a few vegetarian options. Improvements are being made. Although still dodgy people hanging around, not the fault of the store but not ideal. Always drama or weird people there.
Limited options, small, a little dodgy, no fresh options if you were hoping to get pre-made lunch foods on the go, like you would get at other IGA's. Although most of the staff I have dealt with are lovely.
Wouldn't go alone at night as it gets a bit weird around there.
I love the manager of this store. He has been the manager for more than 25 years and is great for a chat!
Suits it's purpose as a small supermarket but has that tacky 'in need of a make over' IGA feel that makes me want to get in and get out.
Soft drinks in an odd spot (front door) so if you miss them when you walk in you spend ages walking up and down the too narrow aisles. Meat seemed okay but bakery/ready meals were lacking. Would probably only cone here of I was in need of basics outside of standard supermarket hours.
