IGA Rivervale

Lots of parking, good prices, very convenient when need to buy products without having to go the shopping centre.

Most of the time the items are not properly billed. They will display some price but when you check out the price is always higher. Happened more than 4 times here.

Also, the produce is not kept in good condition. Never in my lifetime seen a spoiled egg. Unfortunately i opened and poured the spoiled egg (brought from IGA) on the curry I prepared. Throwed the whole carton of egg into garbage along with the curry. Very disappointed.

Has what you want. Not all brands but you can get what you are looking for. Staff need a personality injection.

A small supermarket that is old and tired looking. Friendly checkout staff. Parking right in front of shop.

I'll always have a soft spot for Rivervale IGA. Great team that work there. I can only imagine the bs that goes on around there sometimes (it's close to the city and humans are unpredictable in that area) but I never once feel unsafe at Rivervale IGA and the surrounding shops.

Very disgraceful, he had rotten kiwi fruits up for sale, floors that haven’t been mopped in years. And he’s twiggie sticks are 12$!

Not good enough. Prices expensive compared to other IGA stores. Double check used by dates also from this store. Avoid.

Very Clean, and fruit and Veg look lovely n fresh, I attended the Harmony Festival what a great hit. Enjoyed very much so.
I supported IGA while I was there.

A small IGA doing its best in a pretty rough part of Kooyong Road. Range is OK but limited in some areas.

Third time bought something expired. Two times milk and watermelon. Not recommended at all.

It's ok, not bad, and the prices are relatively competitive to other supermarkets. But the store and the carpark felt so old and the crowd (mostly local residents) was so weird and overall the whole shopping experience was a bit bizzare. The staff at the checkout was nice though, so nothing against the staff, but overall I just couldn't wait to get out and get back into my car. It was just a quick stop to buy a handful of items, as it was on my way home from work and I wanted to buy a few items quickly while waiting for an online takeaway order to be ready from a nearby restaurant.

There is one lady who is on the check out now - She is very unhelpful and rude, twice I have been served by her. I won’t be returning to your store because of her - neither will my family.

Bought a 1000amp /h power bank from behind the glass cabinet and asked for $200 cash out he said only $100 per transaction so I got a little car airfreasher for $5 and another$100 cash out which is a little bit rude and stingy I Thort

I have been shopping here for near on 10 years with my Mother, until recently when refused to be served due to not wearing a mask, despite having an exemption and not wanting to disclose my medical history in peak time. Shame on you! What is happening to this state.

Local and easy parking. Some of their prices are quite high, but at least you find what you want without going to a bigger store

Overpriced continental cucumbers @ $5 each. I understand the market is volatile at the moment but they were soft and should be heavily discounted.
