One of the worst places I’ve ever been to. The owners are dishonest and lie about damaging my car. They said they kept my vehicle inside and secure for the 3-4 days they had it. They lied we found out it was kept outside for the 3-4 days they had my car. The worst of it was they damaged my car on my back bumper and they are saying it was like that before they got the car, even though we sent them evidence of ctv footage on the day and time we took our car to this place. Without any damage shown in the ctv footage on the day we took my car in. I would honestly say to stay away from here and go somewhere else

I had an inspection done on an unlicensed vehicle. Ben was excellent. When I went to Dept Transport to pay licensed fee I discovered Transport stuffed up vehicle details on their system. A phone call to Ben and he contacted them and got them to sort it out, all within 20 min allowing me to get rego done. Great after service. Thanks heaps Ben.

I HIGHLY recommend ID Automotive Repairs. Ben and the team are SOOOOOO LOVELY and really helpful! I felt extremely safe going there as a female not knowing anything about cars. John is so knowledgeable and was incredibly kind to me, and Lisa at the desk is beautiful to talk to and also just as helpful!

Ben & his team at Id Automotive Repairs gave my Renault Megane RS an excellent logbook service, it all started from the warm friendly greeting by the front deck receptionist followed by the friendly knowledgeable staff going that extra mile to make my overall experience as stress-free as possible, keeping me well updated throughout my car service so I was not hit with any hidden costs.

I will definitely be using I'd Automotive again for my upcoming logbook services & I'll be recommending their workmanship to my friends & family.

Nice touch with the free courtesy car which I will need in the future.

Already booked in before I heard all the negative comments people had to say about these guys! Spent 5k on a Harley getting back into shape and chose here because it was only 500 mtrs from the shop I had all the work done.everything was a drama went from excited to dissapointed real quick.i didn't change a thing, took it to a place in Mandurah the next day and it passed straight away.go figure!

I have been using ID Automotive since 2017 and do not plan to change. The whole team are very professional, thorough and great value for money.

Also their customer service is second to none.

I would recommend ID Automotive Repairs to anyone who is after any work on their vehicle.

I got my car inspected from them.they said brake pads are gone.paid$200 for gud quality ones.it last 38, ooo kms.they started making noise after 20,000kms.i went back to them. Now i have to change rotors becoz there gud quality pads ruined rotors.they offered me deal for around $500 when bridgestone charging $380.the guy on reception was admiting fault but the owner was not.i will never go there again.will tell all my uber freinds to stay away from this workshop

Massive thank you to Ben & the team for the fantastic service i received on such short notice. My 100 series landcruiser was towed in with an electrical fault & was diagnosed & fixed within 24 hours. Very professional customer service. They were willing to research and explain ADRs on inspection. I'll consider going out of my way to get services done here just for the level of professionalism.

Having had Ian and his team servicing our commercial and personal vehicles for the last 10 plus years, this has given a near fault free run for over 700,000km combined between these vehicles. This is testament to the quality checks and repairs that they do.

We have used ID Automotive again for an electrical issue on our high millage vehicle, Ian's team were great having the car back on the road quickly and at an affordable price.

In short, not trustworthy.
I was reccomend to bring my vw touareg here to get the centre support bearing replaced.
They had my vehicle for over 24 hours and had done nothing with it, they informed me they were simply waiting on a quote for the price of the part, so i asked if i supplied the part would it be quicker, they told me yes it would they would just need the price and the part number then, not 5 minutes off the phone to them i had tracked down the part to a a local parts shop not 200m from the mechanic, upon bringing the part to id auto motive they then informed me that there was just a hold up with national warranty, so again i said if i call them might that help and they informed me that yes it might, i called and national warranty informed me they had only lodged the claim and hour and a half before i called, yes over 24 hours after my car had arrived at id auto motive.
I then enquired as to what they had quoted and was shocked that they quoted national warranty an entire tail shaft for $1700. I then had to try and explain that a tail shaft is not what they told me was broken and only the centre support bearing.
Id auto motive was more then happy to lie to national warranty and swindle them for unnecessary money for parts that were not required.
After getting off the phone to national warranty and confronting id auto motive about this, they simply said, wouldnt you just prefer a whole new tail shaft.
Simply put no, i would rather fix the only broken part the centre support bearing for $90 and not grossly over estimate 1700 for an entire tail shaft that has nothing wrong with it at all.
National warranty called me back and after a short pleasant talk with their manager they informed me they would be auditing all the claims from id auto motive and then encourage me to find a new mechanic and that they would be happy to pay for the parts and labor.

I had one day off work to get my unregistered vehicle over "the Pitts" and back on the road with the DOT. Ben and his team went out of their way to get me my pass cert.on the same day (quite a few things needed doing). I was very impressed by their service and the Invoicing is extremely transparent and fair.
