I am a regular customer of house of Ernest and always took my puppy with me since he’s my assistant dog. I was told today by the receptionist not to bring him to the salon. It was embarrassing the way she approached me in front of other customers who were seated in the lounge with me waiting.

I said to my stylist I will never go back to that salon again.

House of Ernest and Paul was recommended by Perth's Australian Hairdresser of the Year, Lee Wallis. My hair is very difficult to cut and shape. Paul is absolutely amazing with my hair. A true artist with scissors and real talent. It's about the sixth week whether I can manage my hair and still look great. This was true for me and I have returned for another hair cut. That is the true definition of a customer, the one who comes back. Paul is such a lovely man. He listens and works his magic. A rare find and I'm so glad to have found this amazing hairdresser.

Brow thing was a must have and I appreciate feeling the brows I didn't know existed using compass and tools is precision I looked for. And then for a hair cut the person was great. I felt taken care of.

3 weeks ago I had a great experience with house of Ernest so I decided that day to book in to get a whole head of foils only to get there 3 weeks later for my appointment and got told that I’m booked in for half head foils. I insisted that I wanted to get a full head foils and they told me that it would take a little longer due to them booking me for half head and that they have also another booking after me, I said yeh no worries I don’t have much on today anyways.

They did a colour test on my hair because I wanted to go lighter and then once all was done told me what needed to be done to get my hair to my desired look and I was happy with what had to be done, I was so eager to get a new hair style.

Once again only to get told that they can’t do my hair today and that I had to come back next time because it was going to be a big job.

Mind you I was there 3 weeks prior to getting my hair cut and said I wanted to get some foils done. It’s quite upsetting to hear that they couldn’t do your hair especially when you were there 3 week prior and they didn’t say anything about getting a consultation before getting a colour and also putting in the wrong booking and over booking. No free blow dry is going to make my experience today make me feel better.

I wouldn’t go back to this place again, what a waste of time and energy just trying to get your hair done.
