Head Studio

I went back to Head Studio to get some foils and it was the worst experience ever! The lady that did my hair didn’t do the best job because I have patches all through my hair and she cut my hair wonky. I didn’t want my hair blow dried but they charged me $400! So crazy. When they were washing my hair it was freezing water and I was waiting around forever to just get a trim and was completely ignored. I won’t be going back again. I’m sorry.

I like on a cattle station 900 km from Perth and I have already booked in for my next appointment, so I don't miss out when I am in Perth next.

I have not had a good experience with Head Studio. I went to their salon, had a consultation with my stylist and showed her many pictures of what I wanted. I only get my hair done once or twice a year, so it is imperative that I get a great highlight that has a smudged root and can have a natural looking grow out. I felt that the stylist had heard what I was looking for, but the results were terribly disappointing. I wanted a cool blonde with a smudged root and what I got was an orange straight row of terrible highlights. I sent many emails with pictures and explanations, to no avail. They claim that they only have one receptionist who only works part time. I do not care about the reason, I just care that they are wildly unprofessional. They are bad at hair, but even worse at running a business. Very disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone! I would not go back even to let them 'fix it' because I do not trust that they can. NEVER AGAIN!

It’s overpriced for what you get. Lovely building, but the overall quality of my hair colour wasn’t worth the price.

Also, they advertised they offered AfterPay, which wasn’t actually available. Even though I said to the hairdresser before my appointment began that’s how I was paying (because I was going on holiday and wanted to save my money for it) and that was the only reason why I was going to Head Studio, instead of my normal hairdressers (Renos Hair Care in Joondalup). Only after I’d had my hair done and went to pay did they say that AfterPay had been ‘playing up all day’. So I was unable to use that service. I understand can systems go down - but it was the fact that I had mentioned it at the start my appointment and they could have told me then and managed my expectations. I just hope they aren’t false advertising that’s all.

Initially I was pleased with my hair and the curling - then I washed and straightened it the next day, that’s when I noticed that blocks of colour had been completely missed and large sections of grey hairs had been missed too (which I paid an extra $70 to have greys covered).

Overall, I was just disappointed - I don’t think the place is terrible by any means (hence the 3 stars). But I paid about $340 and in my experience you can definitely find better value for money in Perth than this place.

I must say, you gotta give places another chance. Went there second time and my opinion changed completely.
I received exceptional customer service experience. They really looked after me this time, listened carefully to all my wishes and made them come true. My hair looks shiny, soft and colour is just as I wanted. Thank you.

I need to say a huge thank you to Presten who was happy to accept my difficult situation and taking the challange and help me to start to become blonde after HENNA RED. I asked many salons to do my hair but nobody had the right experience and thank God they didn't want to have the first experience on me. Preston was so professional and knowledgeable from the very beginning. He cut a little piece from my hair and tested the bleach on it to make sure if we do it real it will be fine. The test was successful so we went for it. He did freehand balayage on my hair so like this step by step slowly and careful healthy way I will reach my ideal color. He gave me lots of advices, he even wrote me a big not what he did on my hair and recommends in the future so next time I go to hairdresser they will know whats going on (Im leaving Perth so unfortunately I cannot do the whole process with him: ( )

The price was very expensive, but the service was fully professional so no doubt it totally worth it!

Just great. I have really thick curly hair and got a great cut. And first time, i think ever, i havent wanted to go home and wash out my blow dry style. Camille knows her stuff! Curly girls you should give her a try. Thanks camille, I'm very happy customer and will recommend you to my curly friends.

The staff at the Head Studio are so friendly and I always look forward to my hair appointments here. They take good care of their customers and take the time to talk with you if you're looking to change your hairstyle. I see Camille regularly and would highly recommend her, especially if you're thinking about getting a pixie cut.

A couple months ago, I got my hair coloured & cut by Jen. It was the very first time I’ve ever got my hair dyed. I didn’t trust any salon, but when i heard all the good deeds that head studio has done to its clients, I booked an appointment with them.
I love it when they made my hair become wavy. But the last time I went there, a junior stylist helped Jen do wave to my hair, and it wasn’t as nice. Other than that, I think I’d always recommend head studio to my friends.
It’s a bit pricey but hey I am a satisfied customer! They treat their customers so well.and.there is wine
