I have been eating here for over 6 years and not even once received a bad service. Their staff always do their best even when they are very busy and they are always kind. Food is delicious. Great GF options and very fast service. If you want to exclude an item and add another similar price item, that’s not a problem for them. Some other places think it is such a big hassle to swop one item in a meal and even if they do, some of them charge ridiculous amounts for it, but GYG swop similar value items without any extra charge as everyone should.

Only once, my food was a bit cold, I mentioned it when they asked how my food was, but I did not ask for a new one because I was still happy to continue eating it, they insisted to make me a fresh one although I said it was not necessary. They brought a fresh one literally in 5 minutes with very generous toppings. It is hard to find a customer service like this in Perth!

Guzman have teamed up with Fable to offer a delicious shredded mushroom filling which you can add to their tacos, burritos, bowls and nachos. I’ve been so keen to try this as I’m already a huge fan of Fable’s shiitake mushroom products.

The shredded shiitake mushroom filling combines Fable with authentic Mexican flavours including smoked paprika, garlic and onion, and you can choose if you’d like it spicy or mild.

I ordered it spicy with their nachos, together with the vegan chimi mayo, and it was absolutely delicious! I just love the meaty texture of the mushrooms, swipe for a closer look.

Please note though that Guzman have NOT labeled this menu item as vegan, as there is a slight chance of cross contamination in their small, fast-paced kitchens, however the ingredients themselves are vegan.

The young girl, Stephanie (I think is her name- apologies if I'm wrong) who was on front counter went above & beyond with her customer service during a peak time and composed herself with a ver friendly and positive stature. The food was as good as ever:)

Ordered our meals at 12: 43 and still waiting for mine at 13: 13 when everyone has finished theirs. Ordered a large meal that was advertised for $7 (extra) and chose the options offered but was charged $11.10 instead. Burrito was tasteless. Loved the experience in the Cannington one but this is abysmal.

The food here is always good. The service is fast and friendly. There's plenty of seating inside and outside when dining in.

Portions were generous and fresh, but.so bland. The rice in the burrito had turned to mush, no spices tasted whatsoever. A bit of coriander and lime would have helped. The avocado was tasteless and the tortilla itself was just as bland. The pulled beef was OK. I ate half then threw it in the bin. Have worked for Salsas prev and their food was so flavoursome.

Good standard Mexican food - only reason I've given 4 stars is because I've been to a few places in the US and Mexico and they were better.

Have been before and always enjoyed, however bad experience today with a stuffed up order on their part. Queried no corn chips with con queso was told need to order corn chips, however menu says corn chips with con queso. Good customer service would have been to provide but no, didn't happened. Dissatisfied

Sometimes slow cooked beef is not cooked well and it tastes raw.also either spicy or mild, I couldn't find any much taste as they don't put enough sauce on it.maybe to include in separate containers for takeaways!

Very disappointing. I've been away for a year. Cockburn outlet used to be our regular go to. Something's happened over the last 12 months. I'm not going back. It's boring and the portions have dramatically shrunk. You're just a sad excuse for the greatness that Mexican food truly represents. You've lost a good customer here.

Online order - Food was delivered in a timely manner. Unfortunately, our meals were cold. Not sure how long they were sitting there for before being picked up for delivery.

The Burritos were cold. And quite small in size compared to Burritos we have had elsewhere. The large chips was cold too and very disappointing in size as well. It was small. Not large in size at all.

For anyone ordering the Barramundi.please be careful. There was a number of bones found whilst eating the Burrito.

This was our first and last time ordering from Guzman y Gomez.

Overpriced and Undersized!

Very bad service. I had issues for a long time trying to make a payment online as the app and online page weren’t working properly and wouldn’t take me to the payment link. I called to ask if I could pls order over the phone as I couldn’t place the order online and a lady just said they couldn’t take an order over the phone because they were busy. What difference would it make if I place the order over the phone or online? They would have to make the food either way so won’t make a difference. Really bad customer service.
Also, that is discrimination. Not a very inclusive practice as not everyone is so fortunate to have internet access so looks like Guzman & Gomez is not for everyone! Just the people with internet can enjoy the benefit of ordering before hand and not having to wait for their order to be made… What kind of service do you call that? Not inclusive that’s for sure!

Absolutely atrocious! Got my order which was only half of what it should be, missing ingredients in both orders and missing a quesadilla completely. The store won't answer the phone, very incompetent

I went to GYG to get a takeaway today. The girl giving out the takeways in the afternoon (around 1pm; Saturday), had a really bad attitude. I asked her for a bag twice and she literally just lifted the two pouches separetely and asked me to carry it that way (It would be fine if i had to carry just that but i had quite a few things in my hand). The guys before me got their order in a bag so what was the problem in giving me one? Is this what you call customer service? I always go to GYG but this is the first time I had this experience. Very poor customer service.

We had slow cooked beef, pulled pork and chicken burritos, and a burrito bowl. Taste nice, but hardly any meet in it. Pork wasn't tender and the extra guacamole had a huge piece of avocado (almost half). At least we know it is from avocado.

Poor customer service considering there were only 4 customers, 2 of whom had already been served.
One person at the front desk just glaring into the space of delivery bags to be picked up, in which we realise there was no hope at all.
The other front service person still trying to comprehend another customer order, 13 minutes later.
Hats off the the 2 cooks in the background working hard.
15 mins later. Adios amigo, we left without ordering.

As much as I love GYG sometimes there's inconsistency with orders, not a deal breaker, I will definitly keep returning as the food is just YUM!
