Grand Cinemas Cygnet reviews
26Nice cinema and nice staff but. Why isn't there a disabled toilet? Can't go in if you are in a wheel chair: (toliets too small
On attempting to purchase tickets at the Cygnet Theatre back in October 2018 - I was met with an enthusiastic sales pitch about taking out a membership. The staff member really took his time explaining why membership would be beneficial. Sounded like a great deal on the day. Yesterday I presented my membership card for the first time since joining to be told my membership had expired. I queried this insisting I had not had the card long. Apparently, and this was not explained to me at the time I joined, the memberships run for a calendar year. Now, when there is a queue of ticket purchases behind you - there is not time to read fine print T&C's. This was a crucial fact - completely omitted. I had to fork out full price for my tickets yesterday. I felt conned, completely conned. Love the Cygnet and I love to support local business - but no more. Tell your customers upfront what the deal is - you were not short on all the other details at the time - including all the discounted snacks etc. Not much to ask to have staff explain that you are about to take a years membership that will expire in 3 months! It was sold to me as a years membership!
Beautiful building, really adds atmosphere to the whole movie experience, staff were amazing, felt like they were possibly family, made us feel welcome. We were very happy we chose Cygnet over a large multiplex, felt like more of an adventure/treat for the children and adults alike.
Looks small but feels big, place to go for a movie in style, something different something nostalgic.make happy memories. Lots of eateries around, short walk to see the sunset too
Very impressed with this charming old art deco style cinema. Staff were very friendly. The seats were much further apart than any theatre I've been to in Perth, so heaps of leg room. What a luxury. Also volume throughout ads and movie was significantly lower than the ear-splitting audio experienced at other cinemas. A nice change. Will definitely go back.
What a grand ole girl of a cinema
Friendly staff and much more enjoyable than going to Innaloo with the hordes of munchkins and plebs
But its time folks to upgrade those seats, they're shite and not comfy.yes i know 1st world problems but its time my backside is treated to a more softer experience, lol.
