Galena Bridge Camp Area

Plenty of room great spot with river access. Toilets where clean. We even put the kayak in for a paddle.

Flies are friendly, always ready to irritate you. Good camping grounds on both sides of the river

After long hours drive, we pass by this rest area at the side of highway, we decided to rest overnight, there are a toilet and dumping site. We come on the right time, manage to take the sunset photo, it is so beautiful and cold on this hours. We park our van beside the stone table and bench, and we enjoy our own cook dinner before going to bed.

Very basic set up, bring everything.
Many flies in the day but go for a walk on the river, the terrain is rough but the scenery is beautiful

Good spot but get in early during peak periods. South of the river flater ground but north side bit more bush like.

Big rest area. Dry toilet pretty clean. Loads of room so you have your privacy. Really green with plenty of shade. Not to nosy even if really close to the hwy. Not far from Kalbarri.

Spacious and fairly level. Next to the Murchinson River. Toilets and rubbish bins serviced by Roads Dept. Yes, the toilets can become horrendously smelly at times. Overall: A very good free campsite which could hold 100 campers if needed. Just hope your new doesn't have a generator!

Like us arrive late in the night n get smashed by bugs.explore n old mine just near the bridge!

A perfect stop over spot located rite on the river with almost all year round swimming and an expansive camping area for all shapes and sizes. Stayed three nights even though its signposted as one night only. Good facilities and quiet even though the road is reletivly close.

Fire pits and toilets. Overnight camping allowed. Loads of room for RV and caravans, a little hard in most areas for tents. Beside the Murchison River with shade.

It was so so hot when we were here.and omg the flies. But the facilities were fine and the area is nice with the river. A great free camping option.

Great spot, lots of space. Flies were bad.but they were anywhere with the wind bringing them in. River views and water birds were pretty nice.

Nice open spot, south side, plenty of room, long drop toilets, dump points, no showers, midges bad, as right next to murchinson river, not much water flowing.

Take firewood as there is nothing around to burn. Gets very cold at night but beautiful little spot.

Nice spot to stop for the night, or even just a rest stop on the way up the cost. Toilets were nice and clean
