Galena Bridge Camp Area reviews
56Stayed on th south side near the bridge, some road noise but we both slept well, dump points and drop toilets, wanted to swim in river but a bit much weed for me, no being used to swimming in a river
Free camping. My stay at Galena Bridge Camp Area (South Side) might be a bit hazy, but my notes recall a positive experience. This free camping spot, conveniently located off the highway, offers more than expected. With accessible toilets, bins, and ample space, it's a practical choice for a quick stopover. While not particularly memorable, its amenities and proximity make it a reliable spot for travelers looking for a hassle-free camping option. Overall, a decent and convenient place for a rest on the journey.
Great place to spend the night, was quite windy and the space is obviously quite unprotected but that’s the only complaint. Quiet when the sun goes down, pretty busy, toilets are fine.
This is a fantastic overnight stay. There is plenty of space very quiet. Swans on the river absolutely beautiful.
Not bad I guess if it’s for free. Toilets pretty ordinary, no showers
Freezing at night and early morning down to 3c in July.
We enjoy our stay here. We were travilng from north to Perth and stop over for a night. Had a small fire to keep warm at the river and woke up to birds sound.
Great place to free camp. Plenty of room for large RVs, Caravans, ECT would definitely recommend
Nice spot. Relatively clean. Right on the hwy so can be a little noisy but was actually very little traffic through the night.
Its sad you can only stay here for 24 hours basically overnight. A number of clean modern drop toilets and a couple of dump points. Close to the river for fishermen and plenty of room camping.
Nice place, flies were busy annoying us on our 24 hour stop over. Long drops were actually clean and no smell.
Great road side stop next to a beautiful river. Wish there were more like this one with toilets around Western Australia.makes travelling a lot less stressful.
Great overnight stop. Think some stay longer though lol 3 dump points and clean toilets. Believe there is the same on the other side as well.
So peaceful by the river. Not a fan of the long drops but reasonably clean. Dump points not so hygienic looking. But overall great place to stop.
Brilliant One of the best free camps A credit to the shore So clean toilets a d bins A beautiful spot
Looks like it could have a little better care but besides that always a good place to spend a night to break the journey.
Really nice. Relatively quiet but some truck noise during the night. Toilets in good shape and has 3 dump points. I've stayed at worse paid campsites.
Nice place right next to the murchison, plenty of spots to chill out. We didn't need to use any of the many facilities we were only there for one night and all fully off grid anyhow, cool spot.
Great camping area on both sides of the river. Lots of private spots and a couple of large areas. Seems like a good fishing spot too. Highly recommended.
Great overnight stop. Plenty of room if you're prepared to go on the dirt tracks away from the main parking areas.
Huge paddocks on both sides of the bridge on well signed side road. Plenty of room for any sized rig. 6 drop loos on south side of bridge and 3 drop loos on north side. Heaps of bins. 24 hour limit. Fills up really fast in the afternoon. Nice little spot for the night.
