For what appeared to be a seriously complex and intensive settlement, that had 4 homes in the chain, Flat Rate Settlements yet again made it turn out to be totally fuss-free for me. The end result was what mattered to me the most, which in effect was an accurate settlement transaction in which I sold one home to buy another. Mandy Truong from the firm, handled my settlement and she made it effortless for me, attending to every aspect of the transaction on time and super accurately. I would be very comfortable in recommending Flat Rate Settlements to anyone embarking on a real estate venture

We had an absolutely awful experience with this agency. The communication was almost non- existent. We had a few issues during our purchase and we had to deal with them on our own. Each time we called we had to deal either with the answer machine or personnel who didn't have a clue about simple questions. Sometimes our emails and messages were left unanswered for a week. Eventually we had to start communicating with the seller's agent directly and resolve everything through them. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They are obviously capable of doing a simple and straight deal but as soon as there is even a little complication they are hopeless and leave you to deal with it on your own. Avoid!

Chris Hansord at Flat Rate Settlements was great! He was very easy to reach via phone or email and helped me feel confident through the whole settlement process. Chris took requested contract changes in his stride and was always friendly and professional. I'd definitely use Flat Rate Settlements again.

I have used Flat Rate Settlements twice now. Unfortunately on our second time using them for a purchase they left us high and dry with some legal matters following settlement. Very disappointing that they won't provide even the most basic legal advice for clients post transaction even when the questions relate directly to problems associated with the purchase. Instead they just palm you off and request more money for legal advice. Shows their staff are either quite inexperienced in property settlements and don't really know the answers to basic property law questions, or they aren't really interested in fulfilling their 'flat rate' service and prefer to charge extra for any minor additional service.

We could not see ourselves using them again, and I suggest others use a more comprehensive conveyancing service, as Flat Rate Settlements is very quick to cut and run. We are now having to go to court over matters that a decent settlement agency could have easily sorted with a few quick emails.

Seems you get what you pay for.

They added up what I owed them incorrectly. I'm talking more than 20k in excess. This caused alot of distress for me. I had to get a calculator and add it up for them. Pathetic.
