Delicious meals and great friendly service.
Great drinks too.we enjoyed the seroja hazy ale and the sailor ginger beer.

Food is generally average quality and small portioned for the price. Do not believe the photos posted on their web site. Also, most of the items on their online menu is actually unavailable. Wait staff sat us very far away from the live act, right next to a smokey wood boiler which was too warm, even though there were lots of vacant tables. Beers were great and decently priced. Do not eat here but by all means drink here if you want a decent night out.

The best restaurant in Kalbarri. The food are made so good and planned. The cheesecake and the dessert was although the best thing to have given at this restaurant. The staff were so kind and caring. I would love to come back and I do recommend you to come. Love this place!

Great food, Great Beer, terrific atmosphere but the service at the bar was unbelievable. Queues for both food and Drinks. Think I was in a que longer than I sat down. Not sure what their problem was, maybe staff shortage but keeping customers waiting is no good.

Nice place for a meal with friends. Always very busy but the food is good and the setting is great. Gets very cold so take a good jacket or ask for a blanket in winter season. Nice food selection but the wine is overpriced and the red cab sav had sediment in it.

The family and I came to this beautiful outdoor venue for dinner while on holidays in Kalbarri. The ginger beer was amazing and we are keen to hopefully find it once we're back in Perth! The food was incredible and enjoyable with very generous portions. All food came out extremely quickly even though it was clear they were busy. All staff were extremely pleasant to interact with and were extremely helpful with any questions we had regarding the menu or tasting notes on their products. Thank you to all the staff working for a great night out for dinner!

First time visiting Finlays tonight with my family. Food was great and service was outstanding!
All the staff were friendly from the moment we arrived, and they went out of their way to help and accommodate us. We will definitely come back next time we are in Kalbarri. Thanks!

Little bit of a wait for food but i ordered desert early so it filled the time, and the food was well worth the wait, especially the beer battered fish

Loved our night at Findlay’s. A great vibe, delicious food, generous portions and friendly staff. Food did take a while which gave us time to enjoy their beers. Will definitely go back.

This establishment (Beer Shack) is a winner.
Beer and menu was fantastic. Food was tasty and had alot of seafood options. Service was super friendly. As Craft beer enthusiasts the IPA was up there with the best and the Haze is on par with the beer farms in Metricup. Can't wait for the cannery guys.

Amazing seafood linguine and surf and turf. Booked out this Saturday night but wasn't rowdy. Family friendly, rustic setting. Fast and friendly service. Try the ginger beer.

We were told Finlays was a fish specialists restaurant so we're very disappointed with overcooked fish
But it has friendly staff who were so efficient we almost felt rushed to meet our time slot for the evening

Currently they only have Beer Farm on tap, which isn't a bad thing. But I really wanted to try their own beers.
Apparently they will have their beers back on tap next week as they are currently brewing in the fermenters.
Food was ok, I had the fish burger and it was edible but I wouldn't get it again, also the chips was sort of edible. Not terrible, but also not fantastic.
Partner had the beef burger and said it was good, so get that instead of the fish:)

We just spent $90 (couple) on an incredibly mediocre meal. The staff are friendly, but seemed afraid to ask us how our meal was.and no wonder. The mussels weren't cleaned properly. Cracked shells, grit and beards still attached. The tentacles were overcooked. The panko crumbed prawns and the calamari were both okay. The mains came out 10 minutes apart. The restaurant itself has great potential, cute set up, good wait staff, beers on tap etc. The problem is if you're going to charge tourist prices, the food needs to come close to matching that expectation. In this case, and now on reading other reviews they're not on a regular basis.

Had read some recent bad reviews and almost didn’t go, decided to give it a try for myself and was not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic. Very quick service, great portion size of adult and kids meals. Both my children said this was the best meal of our holiday. A huge thank you to the chef who adapted the seafood linguine to a garlic/ cream sauce in place of the tomato based sauce on the menu, this dish had the perfect amount of seafood/ sauce/ pasta ratio and was just delicious. Hubby had the chilli mussels and said they were delicious also. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Kalbarri.

Coastal Bush pub vibes! Wonderful staff and service, cold WA beers & incredible food - everything that came out on our plate & what we saw on the plates of others! Try the share plate!

Very disappointed. I had the Coconut and Panko crusted Prawns for a starter, there were 4 in the bowl and they were very over cooked.

Good Mad Max type setting, beer was good but prices were over the top. Waiting in line to order food and a drink when busy was frustrating

Honestly some of the best surf and turf we've ever tasted! Small menu but they have perfected everything on there! Couldn't thank the staff enough for their brilliant service, they go above and beyond! Also Bec who was on her first night did an exceptional job, thanks again guys
