Essential Beauty Midland Gate

I visited Essential Beauty at Midland Gate today for the first time and had my eye brow and upper lip waxing done today by your beautician Teegan who did an amazing job.

She was very gentle when doing the waxing and did a swatch test for the products as I have sensitive skin. While I was not allergic to their normal wax thankfully, I did prefer the sensitive wax as was gentler on my skin and irritated it less.
I will definitely be coming back here in the future. 10/10

Rachel did my waxing today and her attention to detail was amazing. I was supremely impressed. 10/10 especially as she did my wax between clients. Thankyou so much my stress level when from 10 to 2.

Went there today to replace my piercing, since I've lost my old one. I know what type of pain to expect when changing a piercing, since I had that done plenty of times by myself or in other studios before.

The lady who changed it was very rough with it, she yanked it through without checking properly which way the hole was pierced and it caused me a lot of pain and bleeding afterwards. This is not how you change a piercing and I would ask for some more empathy for your customers, especially for the price you are asking for the replacement.

Been here a couple of times. Had a piercing done and waxing and they are very thorough in talking you through everything and letting you know what they are doing during the piercing process. Will definitely be going back again.

Maria has done two of my nose piercings now and so this is 3 I have and the location of the piercings with the 3 together look awesome, she listens to your wants and with this I’ve received so many compliments. Maria is friendly easy going, advices, but also listens to the wants of the client. I’m also in the hair and beauty industry (38 years in fact!) so I know the importance of being professional but also listening to the clients wants. Thanks Maria, I highly recommend you!

Had a wax done here, full Brazilian with imogen she was amazing, super friendly, professional, and honestly so firken fast.i was out in 10mins!

I got my nose piercing done here got really infected. Misses got her ear done here few years later and got infected. Both used after care and kept it clean. Wouldn't come back here.

Hannah and Tegan were extremely helpful with my daughters ear piercing. They took so much time to ensure her it would be easy and it really was.

Just went in there and the lady didn't have a clue what I'm talking about and she didn't even help me out at all like she couldn't be bothered dealing with me or she couldn't be bothered answering my question very poor customer service

I get.y back waxing done here. Good service & prompt. Small shop with small rooms but get the job done & not overpriced like some others. Have been multiple times.

I went with two of my friends to both get helix piercings. We booked back to back appointments and our piercer Hannah was so professional and enthusiastic. She was funny and made us feel comfortable. She adapted to our changes we wanted with our helix piercing positions. She gave us great advice for the healing process. Her work was so good, quick and efficient. Me and my friends can’t recommend her enough. Thankyou Hannah we will be booking in with you again. X

Sooo happy with the service I received today! The staff are so friendly and made me feel welcome as I had my sister and baby with me.
I got a dermal & the male piercer was very professional and patient
I also had my eyebrows waxed and tinted by a young girl I unfortunately forgot both their names! But she was so pleasant and did a fantastic job I’ll definitely be returning and I love the fact she kept asking if I was happy with the results because not many people care! Just a Happy Shout out to this business. We attended an Appointment today at 1pm, My Daughter got a 2nd lot of ear piercing and i Got my brows tinted and waxed done. We can’t remember the girl’s name but we were soo impressed! She was so friendly, so informative and soo helpful as well as she was also mentoring a new girl with ear piercing. Our visits to this place has always really absolutely lovely but I think, We Would Highly recommend this lovely Girl to get a raise

I got my belly button piercing done here, i was uneducated so i thought it was fine but over the past few months i have realised it was pierced WAY to shallow, i'm having to take it out and get it repierced somewhere else due to health concerns within the future. I use to trust this place a lot but now i'm never going back. The piercing never got infected but that doesn't change the point this piercing could literally split open my belly button. I never wanted to leave a review before, but i'm so angry that i decided too. Waste of money, don't come here for piercings!

10/10 recommendation Imogen for waxing! She makes me feel so comfortable, very professional, quick, gentle and alway making sure I always leave happy! Will definitely be rebooking with Imogen:)

Today I had an appointment with Hannah who done an ASAP facial n eyelash lift n tint. Hannah's professionalism and her beautiful personality and customer service made my visit extremely relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommend Hannah in every aspect. Thank you lovely
