Must admit things ran a lot more efficiently than my first visit 10 years ago and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Don't bother complaining about an unethical or corrupt process, because that process is just as bad and doesn't get anywhere.

Knowledgable person gave great advice on renewing an expired license which saved me time and money. Thanks

I waited in line for half an hour to realise I forgot my ID. On my way to return, I got stuck behind a learner driver who forgot where the clutch was in their car. Overall an invigorating day

Transperth, at 9: 32am this morning, while buying my coffee, I watched your scheduled-for 9: 36 bus 460 drive past me, 3 minutes early and not bother to even pull in, or stop st the busy Mullaloo beach front stop? I had carefully planned to catch that bus, which is generally not early, quite the contrary, in fact. Please consider this input: From an aged pensioner, on my way to volunteer my time, free, at the Joondalup Community Art Gallery.

Just terrible, long wait times and the staff really could not be bothered helping anybody. Lack of direction, standard for a government department in this sector but Joondalup is just woeful at best

Been on the phone 15 mins and counting. I can't get into the office as full time worker. Be good if they would answer calls quicker other than that nice people

They failed you in PDA test and Given lame reason. Most of the assessor is not friendly and Racist as well. Please avoid this Test centre.

Had cause to use this place a lot recently and can not fault the place. Great friendly staff with the occasional mandatory grumpy civil servant jobs worth.

I have waited 2 MONTHS for my drivers test and spoken to four of their staff members and I walk in to sit the test and got told I was meant to have been given a form when I booked it (which I never received) so they declined my test and to make matters worse, they tried there absolute best to make it sound like I was a moron, laughing, telling me to read the forms properly when it was clearly not on the form.terrible staff

Staff are usually friendly enough but avoid this location for a driving test. They will find any excuse to not do the test, I've seen so many people being turned away for meaningless things while other places will be more flexible. Joondalup is known for being very difficult to pass your test.

Steve at Joondalup was extremely helpful and friendly. Despite being very busy and given that our inquiry was lengthy we left approximately 45 minutes later. Best experience at a Government Department ever.

Though I was frustrated having to plan a time to get there as a full time worker, and went in expecting to wait hours, I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised with my visit. I'd rudely answered a call just as I entered, but as there was a queue, didn't want to delay getting myself a ticket. The reception lady was assisting people to choose the right tickets, and didn't show a hint of annoyance that I was talking on the phone. The wait to be served was brief, just long enough for me to fill in my form. The reception lady again happily checked my form for me and my ID documents, to make sure I had all I needed. Once I arrived at the counter, I was greeted by a genuinely friendly man who didn't seem like he hated being there. He was helpful, pleasant and efficient. In this day and age, it's surprising to still need so much paperwork for processes like transferring an interstate licence, but you can't complain when it's as pain free as a visit to this centre.

Not too bad in terms of waiting time considering it is government run. Overall a good DOT location for learners and people wanting their services.
