If you trying to get an answer from them, "GOOD LUCK". The contact no.you ring is only an information centre where in my case, they coudn't give me a definite answer and asked me to contact the immigration directly. How can i do that? Either by e-mail or request for an appointment by e-mail. I did both "SEVERAL" times by only got automated response. Dead end - game over.

Would be good if they actually did something here instead of saying "got to go online to do this".

Its not the Perth office thats particularly bad its the system for citizenship. Try to enquire as to progress and given an email address that nobody replies from and a phone number that when you get to the end of a very long que you are told " we process 90% of applications in 22 months" and " no news is good news". If you hoping to find out about your application that appears to have vanished from the face of the earth i can save you the trip here you will find out nothing!

Recently put an application in for an long term affair with a rich blond with nice features. Went to the interview and got some gross middle aged hag of a thing. Not sure if the paperwork process got messed up but I am not impressed by the scammers trying to set me up with something I definitely did NOT apply for.

I think it's alright if you prepare every documents you need. Show them whatever you have to. Know what's your purpose and questions. Everything went smoothly with me. Staffs are alright too

Why does this place even exist when you don’t even have any services? Not even for enquiries? There are 6 fact sheets and they’re all one sided. I doubt if that’s all the information for everybody. Also each sheet basically says, “We don’t know, ask this. We don’t know, check this website. ”

If I came to ask for help, don't tell me to call someone for help. If I did want to call the Department of Home Affairs, I would've done it at home. If you're going to have a place like this, then bloody help me to solve my problem and don't tell me to call to solve it.

Had been keep waiting for a month just to have a new passport details binding to my current visa. When I came here they just update for me instantly.

An absoslute joke of a department. I am a 4th gen Aussie however I feel you are all an embarrassment and should be ashamed of working for a department which is set up to be so uncaring, unresponsive, rude and racist. Have some self respect.

Your handling of our immigration is beyond low standard in my opinion.
Federal politicians should resign over this debarcle.

I read the notification feed back not good friendly people who they are not supposed break laws from my name less thank you

I came to the department office at 10: 35 am this morning. The lady at inquiry desk was so rude. I just ask general questions, she just responding like "go to the website and if you don't understand, there is an email address, just email them" body language and eyes contact are just so rude and unbelievable.

The whole appointment took no longer than 30 minutes. Personnel were very helpful and friendly. In follow up, I've called twice now and got through relatively quickly and they have again been very helpful.
