My partner went for the citizenship test here. Simon was polite and efficient and we got confirmation of approval before we got back to the car.

Alright. No one answers the phone. You can't get an appointment. Looks like you don't need staff in this country smh

Do not migrate to Australia from Iran! Compared to the USA that easily grants green card to the US citizens' parents, here has a 30 year process to get parent visa only if you have more than half of your siblings here not to mention horrible visitor visa stories as follows.
This department has personal revenge to me no matter the government is Labour or Liberal. My mother's sponsored family visitor visa was refused multiple times from 2014 to 2018, and finally was granted by a member of AAT who was my late migration agent's former colleague. I was hoping now after borders opening, vaccination restriction lifting related to Sinopharm, she can come here after being 3.5 years separation, but nonsense case officer refused it unbelievably, although she and my sister did not overstay last time. The Australian government does not consider any value as a citizen for me. Therefore, it is hard to like here as my home country. On the other hand, the Australian citizens are discouraged to travel to Iran! I am so upset that my mother and I have been considered as an dishonest persons, while were not.
Parent visa for 3 to 5 years has also income limit.

Staff is very rude and not answer the questions. Even hang phone when asking questions on helpline. NO acknowledgments on feedback. Its not look like staff is working in Australia. As i know and my experience Australian government agencies always helpful to customers. But department of home affairs has ever worst number of staff right now.

Poor service and poor department. The helpline will only give answer to the things already available on the website.
God bless them with some common sense!

This the wast service I have everrrrrr had, put me on hold for 70 minutes to reset immi password, and when finally answered, she put me on hold twice again, I was at her silently. Man that was disaster, in total 80 minutes to reset simple password.

If I could give less than one star I would. Longer than an hour wait, they keep referencing their website, that is generally unhelpful, the whole time you are waiting. I am calling because my parents are elderly and they couldn't figure out the website and the information they needed wasn't there. For a government body the lack of accommodation for people's abilities is horrifying. An elderly or disabled person shouldn't have to wait on a phone for help for an 1 hour +.

Really worst explanation and reasons giving when they refused my wife dependant visa. We have been married from 3 years and they said they think it’s fake marriage how they think they have evidence on their front of their eyes. They said in India she is not economically wells
Seriously she just want to live with her husband nothing else we have been apart from 3 years and they just can’t understand how terrible their decision made our life. We will leave this country soon

Unpleasant experience. Please train your customer service team. Called twice and the answers given were different. Provide inaccurate information and one of the girls being very rude.

The place has deteriorated in service a year ago it was working now they dont really want to help or are very under trained people dont want to speak to them they are here to assist us

Citizenship test officer pleasant to deal with, nice and polite. The Citizenship interview officer unfriendly and speak so soft that I can't really hear him well compared to other counters (other interview officers) that were clear and loud, I can even hear what they asked for from where I was sitting. Just my luck to "be served" by him, seems like he added a hearing test for me.

Tina was very rude and didnt even have the time to listen, when i challenged her she placed me on hold for 10 mins to annoy me as i demanded to speak to her manager.

Worst gov department ever centrelink is awsome compared to this place and thats a big statement a real shocker from the hold times then another hold time then get told sorry we cant help you go back tothe website fill this f orm that form etc, the very reason you contacted them in the first place is you couldnt work it out on the website.

I'm kind of confused with their presence by having a physical office in the Perth city. They can't even help with a single query and direct me to call DHA number. Somehow I feel sad seeing our nation's resources are wasted on these people, which anyone could just do their job and even better

When my call was finally answered, I told their rep I had not checked the website today but was sure the information I needed was not there. He directed me to their website then hung up on me. Called back, waited again, told the rep I had looked at their website today but the information was not there. Got the information I needed and it took her all of 30 seconds to share it with me. Public service in the very loosest sense.

Staff members are unhelpful, every time you ask something the answer is" privacy reason" can not tell u anything. You can not get any proper answer from them

Me and my son been their this morning regarding my travel visa enquiry, the gentleman at front desk (white hair) he help me to fill my travel visa form again with a big smile and set an example for my son that not every front desk officer is rude, because my son heard from his friends that officers are so rude on front desk. My son tell this incident to all of his friends and say that gentleman is an ANGEL, IF that gentleman read this reveiw i would say a BIG THANKYOU.
