Denmark Ocean Beach Holiday Park

Wow what an amazing place! We stayed in the new cabins. Well furnished, well stocked kitchen utensils, comfy beds, so quiet, clean, amazing showers, plenty of towels and bedding. Children's playground and grounds immaculate. Heaps of kangaroos. Awesome location to Denmark tourist spots, local beach, Albany and Mt Barker. Lovely service at reception. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Overall great caravan park. With useful facilities although the washing machines were sometimes not in full working order.

I was again disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms as there is old cob webs and spiders, broken toilet paper dispensers, dust all along the top of the shower walls and toilet paper dispensers. The bathrooms overall being in dirty state with build up on the floors in the corners of the rooms. Although keeping in mind I totally understand that sometimes mess on the floor happens after each use, but these types of things are a build up over a long time and should be cleaned more regularly. I also found that the mop bucket they offer to clean after each shower was also dirty and muddy with no option for us to put fresh water and bleach in it to give a good clean before and after showering.

Now I don’t want to sound like a “Karen” but they have a 8 kilometre speed limit which is totally understandable especially with young children around. But the workers seem to drive 20-25kms on a golf buggy around the park which I don’t agree with. As it’s putting our young ones also in danger also.

We loved staying in this place for 2nights. Clean and organise place. Amazing playground for kids my son spent all his time there.
Bathroom and kitchen handy and clean.recommend 100%.

This is the ducks nuts of Big4 parks. Huge grounds. Heaps to keep the whipper snappers amused. Shuttle bus to and from Boston Brewery. My only recommendation would be to carry some more staple food items at the front shop. Otherwise it can be a bit of a hike to get into town. But overall 6 out of 5 stars

Very large caravan park on the edge of the Inlet. Nice, clean and large facilities with good hot water all the time.

Very nice Caravan Park. Mostly clean amenities and friendly staff. Unfortunately, their is cultural groups that mess up the toilets and bathroom facilities (mostly the week before Christmas), making it unpleasant.
In all fairness, the staff really try their hardest to keep it clean and attend to everyone's needs.
Lots of things to do for the children and great Telstra Wi-Fi reception.

Great caravan park
Pressure is high in the showers, which have hot water all the time. The toilet block is very clean and modern looking.
The layout of the park is good, all sites are numbered, and getting around the park in a van is easy enough to do. Staff are lovely. Honestly a great spot.

Great camp site.really kid friendly. Kangaroos are cool. Very big. Staff are very friendly. Only down side very hard to find your allocated site markings are not great.

One of the best caravan parks we've been to. The unpowered areas are huge and you have plenty of your own space. And there are lots of amenities so there is no waiting when it is busy! Certainly recommend staying here!

Great Park but the shower facilities to the back of the camp a disgrace, very small, dirty and taps kept falling off and very poor drainage. If the block is updated would probably book again, new shower block great very clean and modern just a shame the old block bad

Very windy but all the amenities are clean and the sites are well maintain but only a few bins doted around park and crows attack rubbish bags at your camp site

Stayed in one of the newly refurbished cabins and was extremely impressed with the standard and level of comfort

Something needs to be done about the terrible sewerage stink in the evenings down the back in the camping section, absolutely gross

First time stay at big 4 the place is clean nice fiew and the bed is comfortable and clean love it, definitely will come back and stay here

Everything you'd expect from a Big4 park. Well kept sites and park grounds, spotless amenities and camp kitchen, jumping pillow, mini putt course, tennis court, fish cleaning table, and the estuary right across the road. And courteous, friendly staff!

Worse camping experience I ever had. Poo, flies, mosquitos. 10pm all lights and kitchen closed. Children playing ground too far. I Will never go back

Big 4 ocean beach Denmark. We had the same problem with waking up in our tents and swags with water coming up through the floor. You said in another reply you can’t control the weather. Fair enough but you’re based in one of the wettest towns in the south west and you cannot say you’ve never had this issue before. People pay for a service and you should provide it. Proper drainage for your sites would be a very basic requirement. Now I would have not bothered to say anything but when we asked you to help cover some drying costs which you refused giving the same bullc&$p excuse about not being able to help the weather. 2 or 3 lots of drying wouldn’t have killed your “big 4” company and to show some generosity to a family who just woke up in 2 inches of water. You’d think keeping people happy and coming back would be a win. Anyway that’s not all. We had the misfortune of using an out of order washing machine that hadn’t been tagged and instead of just giving us our money back you made us fill out a form and we’re still waiting on our refund. Not happy will not recommend.

My son had his first tent camping experience here.

The area looks nice at first.

But the rain comes and the grass site flood.

The grass area needs a drainage system underneath. Or they should not rent out locations which flood.

I had a tarp under my tent. But what does tarp do if water level goes above the tarp?

The area is nice though!

Very relaxing and fun place for all age. It has tennis/basketball court play area for kids. Awesome stay.
