Denmark Ocean Beach Holiday Park

Dear Big4 team,
Unfortunately I can't give them more than 2 stars.
We have been camping in New Zealand and Australia for 4 months and can compare well.
Her place was one of the worst in terms of sanitary facilities and kitchen.
The toilets and showers were terribly dirty. Mold, dust, dirt and the associated bad smell.
I understand that a lot of people vacation in their park during the holiday season. But when they let so many people live there, they have to clean a lot more often. It was really an imposition.
The refrigerators in the kitchen were also very dirty and filled with dead flies.
When I washed the dishes, the water ran down onto the floor.
We were with them for 5 days and none of the days got better.
If they could improve that their park would be perfect.
They have a good location and a wonderful place with their animals.

It's a great campsite. With all required facilities and entertainment for children. Playground is excellent. Kids played there all the time.
Not far from the beach. 10 minutes drive feom the Denmark.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Superior Chalet. It has a lovely sunrise view plus kangaroo and ducks to join you for your morning coffee.
The kids playground is beyond awesome. Thw internet was impressively fast!
The chalet was clean, well accommodated and functional. I'd definitely stay here again! Thanks for the lovely time!

We love staying at this caravan park and the great job the staff do. A big shout out to Jake for helping us out with our camper on our site and to the manager Megan and office staff, who do such a wonderful job. Thank you for the lovely stay! We will be coming back soon!

My family and I have stayed here a few times in the campgrounds, chalets etc and have loved each one! At Christmas we came with family and stayed in one of the Villas and it was perfect. Such large rooms with so much space to hang out and enjoy family time and we were so grateful they told us we could have a cot and high chair added in there for our son at no extra charge.

We absolutely loved that we could just book the courtesy bus that they offer to Boston's brewery for dinner and everyone got to have a drink and get home safely instead of having to cook dinner because that's the last thing I want to do on holiday

We stayed again this weekend just gone as we heard the inlet across the road was opening back up but due to last minute travel plans we stayed in our van with the kids and we had the best time waking up to see the kangaroos hopping around whilst we had a cuppa. Finished our days off by playing down at the playground with a few games of mini golf and walks over to the inlet.

The staff at this park are a huge part of what keeps bringing us back as they are so friendly and nothing is an issue as they are always happy to help or recommend a good hike, place for lunch etc.

Highly recommend this place and we will continue the tradition of having our family vacations here and watching the park grow

Friendly staff. Large sites. Amenities are good. Camp kitchen good. Play area for the kids is really great. Worth staying.

A beautifully well maintained caravan park. It was Easter, so jam packed. The ablutions must of been cleaned two or three times a day. They were spotless. Very friendly helpful staff to greet you on arrival, and an easy quick checkout when leaving. Thanks guys for a great stay.

Fantastic park, clean amenities. The sites at the back of the park are HUGE and plenty of friendly kangaroos hanging around. Pet friendly and perfectly situated next to ocean beach. Great play ground and bounce pillow fornthe kids.

Only 5 or so minute drive into Denmark

Stayed here Easter weekend and wasn’t very happy. My family had booked an year in advance to get a good spot, unfortunately I wasn’t able to stay longer then 3 nights (Friday-Monday) due to work. Which when I went to pay through email they later informed me there was a 4 day minimum and was non negotiable. So I had to pay for an extra day to be with my family. And lastly our lot was a big pile of sand, with we couldn’t even park properly otherwise would’ve been bogged so we had to park very close to the wood polls in the ground, which I was not happy with at all. My family had spoke to reception about and they said it was fine and nothing they could do.

Lovely bathrooms and camp kitchen just not happy with reception efforts. And having a minimum on holidays which not everyone can get so much time off.

Great Chalets - clean and very comfortable - would stay again. 8km out of town, so nice and quiet. Food vans and excellent coffee van daily.

Great place to camp, lots for kids to play on. Free WiFi is garbage though. Plenty strong enough but drops out constantly

We would have preferred it to be closer to the main Town. But it's still a better choice compared the other caravan park which is in town by the river. Overall we were very happy with our stay, it was very relaxing. And the Nacho and Burrito from the food van was very good.

Very good facilities. Ablution block and laundry spotless. Staff very friendly would recommend this caravan park to others.

It has changed a lot in the last 50 years that I've been going there but it has improved a lot a lot a new chalets & camping areas well catered for staff are very happy helpful

Don't forget your kanoe, nothing more relaxing and only a minute drive from park entrance.

Nice clean amenities, great hot water and water pressure in the showers.
Great big sites.
Lovely having the wildlife wander around.
Love the free bus to Boston Brewery.
Nice to have a good place to stay with the dogs

Very nice park. Great for kids and retired people. Safe beach just across the road. Not far from Valley of the Giants forest and Albany.

I stayed here with my family this weekend and couldn’t have been more happy with my experience. Reception staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The playground is amazing and there is a great beach just across the road. There are kangaroo’s on-site that my children loved to watch and the toilets, showers and kitchen are all cleaned and well maintained. I would recommend to anyone hoping for a family getaway.

Really enjoyed our stay next time we'll stay longer and we will definitely recommend to family and friends a great holiday spot to stay

Everything was perfect: cabinet sparkly clean and comfy, the playground is huge and the staff is lovely.
