Denmark Hotel reviews
56Restaurant varies from great to cold stale nocchi with rotting cheese they found at woolworths 2 years ago. The chocolate sundae is to die for
It's a room. Bit dusty and dirty though. Chipped mismatched mugs are a delight to drink out of. Thin, old sheets on the bed. Wiring for the TV gave us a laugh.
Disappointing all around! Waited for two hours for food that was of a low standard, could get same quality food at a service station! Staff didn’t apologise for making us wait which didn’t help at all. Don’t waste your time or your money at this establishment.
Peak period, everywhere flat out and found this great little Pub. Excellent food, quick and friendly service and can highly recommend!
Great country pub that overlooks the river. Friendly staff and a great selection of beers. Didn’t eat here this time but plenty of people in the restaurant.
Food was really well presented and great flavours (especially the masala). I had the schnitzel which unfortunately was burnt. Friendly staff and a really nice outlook whilst dining (ask for a table overlooking the river). Great for a couple dining night out with a wide range of menu items from around $20 to $40.
Don’t bother. Food was average, staff not super friendly in restaurant. Smell from the urinals wafting through restaurant area made us want to vomit in our food. Never ever again will I stop in. Tavern on the other side of town is a winner
Max the Manager does an excellent job, fantastic customer service. We had the fish burger delicious, the prawns and squid looked amazing. 4 x TAB terminals, great choices of beer on tap, Wonderful ambience I can highly recommend this Hotel.
The Scott fillet is so.good just like the first time I had it 5 years ago! The service was good friendly staff! Oh you must order the red wine sauce for your steak because it’s so.unique and tastes fantastic! Can’t find it anywhere else! Will always come back for dinner when visiting Denmark from Perth! Great chef! Keep it up!
We always have a meal at the hotel when in Denmark, consistently delicious and inexpensive meals and friendly, helpful staff.
Absolutely disgusting rooms! We were appalled at the dust, the smell, carpet stains, broken and filthy curtains, broken window, dirty sheets on the beds. No covid-19 clean in these rooms, tucked away in a gravel carpark with no view of the river. Photos on website absolutely misleading. Management had not a care in the world that we had to spend the first 30 mins disinfecting the room and moving our own extra bed from another room into ours! I could go on and on. Never again!
100% recommend.
Travelling through Denmark & had dinner here!
Pub was PACKED with locals for a Monday night. We had the chicken parmi & beef and rib and both meals were massive and delicious. Great friendly staff and service!
My husband had the worst dinner being in such a beautiful part of the southern his steak dinner was horrible being a butcher himself it was full of fat and sinew yuk beautiful fire and the waitress sat us near the window which was so cold ate with my jacket never giong back there again
Being local I thought we would try the pub. Food wait was a hour and half and when it came out it wasn’t even hot and not worth the wait.
Good motel room, had all you needed for a comfortable stay. Clean and well looked after.
Had a fantastic meal at the pub too, a massive chicken schnitzel. Friendly staff and great vibe
Like previous reviews old part of hotel rooms pretty basic. No air conditioning. Uncomfortable night. $40 Steak with mushroom sauce had 6 thin slices of mushies. Limp salad served on what should have been hot plate. Steak overcooked
