Denmark Hotel

Professional service and staff. Limited menu as Chef finishing 2 weeks 'Covid isolation'. Amenities were clean. Venue a little outdated and could do with a refresh. Fare was average and adequate.
Will be a while before I revisit this hotel for a meal.

New owners still.finding their feet and struggling to get staff. Place has potential and it will be interesting to visit again in the future

Nice meal and outlook from the verandah. Warm inside. Beautiful out. Friendly and helpful staff.

Came here for lunch with my partner, was told by a fella who worked here that the only menu available was the 4 meals written on the board, not the burger menu or anything. We look at the 4 meals, that being two steak meals, one fish and one kids meal. The steaks were between $36-$39, so we decide to get two rumps as we didnt want fish and we were told no other meals were available. My mum ordered after us and they said all menus were open, to which she told me after we ordered. Seems like they just wanted to make a quick buck as it was the most expensive meals. Two meals and two drinks totalling $100. Got the steak and it was so chewy, almost inedible. Jaw was literally aching from eating it. If their drink service wasn’t good this would’ve got 1 star. Wish I could’ve got my money back.

This place use to be one of our favourite stops to have lunch. Awesome steak sandwich and good prices. Wonderful staff. Unfortunately on Sunday we decided to stop in as it has new owners. Prices have gone so much up from steak sandwich being $14 to $24 and OMG it was so bad. The owner looked so sour didn't even smile. Very disappointed and we won't be stopping in there again. Can not recommend this place like we use to.

The rooms are outdated and falling apart, with holes in the doors and paint chipping off the walls. The management turned off the water without letting us know then left the hot water off for a couple hours afterwards. It’s fine if you’re passing through town and there’s nowhere else to stay, the rooms were pretty warm and the bed was comfy but still pricey for the quality of motel.

Did a booking for 6 rooms more than month ago and now these guys sent an email that because of fire regulations the booking is cancelled.
I called and the guy have just apology rather than a solution and asked to look other places on the road.
Totally unfair and unprofessional.

Perfect little spot in town. Food and service was amazing! Shout out to Tanya, who made our time spent here a memorable one. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff, prices are good, a great view across the Denmark River. Well worth a few hours of your time on a sunny afternoon or evening as the full moon rises.

I am giving rating ZERO to this hotel due to inconvenience. I would to like share my experience about this Denmark Hotel, i done my reservation in first week of June through hotel website. Due to emergency I cancelled my reservation within an hour and i got Email from hotel that you will be receive you payment after 5% deduction in the actual amount. But here is almost 30 business days are gone and I didn't receive any single "Cent" we called 100 times and Emails too to hotel and I received only one thing from them "i call you Back" and i am waiting for their call since then but i didn't receive any call from front I have all proof of my reservation those I received from hotel. I don't know why the hotel staff is so irresponsible, they stop picking calls, so much of harassment. I want to inform all of you guys who want to stay in this hotel be Careful about your booking and refund

Visiting for a few nights so we popped in here tonight after being turned away from another local pub.so glad we were turned away!
Food was unreal, my kids are usually pretty fussy and don't like a lot of new things, as is hubby with his steak! Husband said steak was unreal the way it was cooked and it was cooked to perfection. Meat on ribs for my son fell off the bone and were so tasty, same with the burger my daugther got, not a grisly bit in sight! I had my standard fish and chips and it was beautiful!
Service amazing with great attention to advising on set wines and drinks. Lady advised they had taken over recently and I feel a shame we are not local as we would be there a lot more! If you are local definitely go and try it out, very impressed and not often I come away saying that!

The pasta took an hour to arrive, was cold, and was missing the advertised "side of turkish". My friends' parmis looked ok though.

The actual hotel was good room was good food good but the next door guest kept us awake all night not the hotels fault but they failed to provide a phone number for us to get help

One of the worst meals I have had for a long time. The Snapper and Thai salad (nothing but lettuce, coriander, onion and dressing) was $34, not worth $15 for a meal of this quality.had a selection of only 3 white wines. We will not return.

Found our way there because most restaurants in Denmark are closed mid week at night - or shut due to lack of staff.

Had 21 people in our group dine in and order food and drinks. The restaurant had plenty of other patrons. The bar staff were fantastic. Our meals were served in good time considering the number of orders. The steak and ribs was enjoyed. The Sri Lankan Curry had some kick and those who ordered it loved it. The Parma’s were a great size. Kids food was good portion. All meals were hot and the drinks were cold. We’d definitely do dinner there again.
