Excellent service, been shopping at Myer for years. Decided to try DJ. Excellent place to visit with some excellent sale items. A lot cheaper than the other major stores. Well Done DJ.

Got a couple of items as Christmas presents in the men's department. Was attended by Tony who was knowledgeable n provided great costumer service. Noticed that he attended multiple sales transactions at that time n managed to keep all his customers happy. Keep up the good work Tony!

A pretty pretentious place. Once paid $180 for a jacket started falling apart right away. Better quality at Myer I'd say, at least they don't pretend to be upmarket and then sell you a bad product

Great service. Showed a shop assistant a picture on my phone. She took me to the spot. I picked up the item, paid her and was out in a few minutes. My type of shopping!

Pretty disappointed! My housemate brought a display tv worth over a few thousand dollars from David Jones, due to them losing the original box they had to make up a box to deliver it in. On delivery the tv screen cracked. For 15months they gave my housemate the impression he was getting a new tv he even got consumer affairs involved and the store manager lied to them. Stating we didn't buy the tv from DJ's. Even though we have bank statements and bank receipts for proof of purchase. Very bad customer service, lies and we are now stuck with a broken tv as they will not take ownership.
"For customers wanting to shop at David Jones remember to get things in writing" as the store manager is not honest.

A delightful young lady listened and directed me to the above floor and an interested staff member sorted through the winter stored goods and came back to me with the most reasonably priced leather gloves to protect my damaged hand. Perfect caring from beautiful ladies. Sincere regards. Dot.

So far my experience is barely satisfactory. I would try true genuine customer service. I would like to treated well without arrogance.

I purchased an Oroton wallet in navy. Excellent service from lovely sales girl. Absolutely she made my day by helping me.

Annoyed to be sent from department to department. Staff knowlage in different departments needs work, if it's not there main thing there not interested.
Staff unsure of products that were on there site, which was disappointing.
Spent $400 ok no 1 product but took ages and could of been faster other staff knew where things were.

Old fashioned customer service.

This Perth dept store has been an icon for fashion bargains in the past. I don't know the direction its taking, the sales are still great but not so much as before. New ownership at a time of challenging retail environment brings less opportunities for bargains, more buy two get 25%discount.l. Mirroring competitors.but its tight. Step in step marketing with everyone else. Food court is a winner, pity its not promoted very well or refurbished. It's my favourite store for great fashion.

Standard David Jones. Food hall is nice for sushi or noodles. The place is designed terribly. They really need to redesign the floor layout or renovate the whole shop. The whole shop is confusing as it's hard to find out where to go when you need to find something. We got pretty stuck today as the lift was out of service. There's no way to get around the shop easily if you have a pram.

It's ok but myer always have more specials and staff are a lot easier to find and more helpful, I'd rather myer anyday for quality and feeling wanted there

I was in this shop on the 7/October, I bought a pair of men's RE jeans that had a %30 off sale on it but the rude Pakistani guy who served me insisted they were not discounted even though there was a big yellow sign in bold saying they were %30 off, when asked to speak to his manager he replied he was to busy & ignored me & carried on serving other people. I will not be shopping there ever again and will take this matter to the ombudsman.

I just get over how smug some of the staff are here, when you'll find more cracked floor tiles in this place than Hay Street Mall!
One of the great Australian retailers. And they are just too cheap to fix the place!

Want to.need to shop here but there's NEVER any staff around. So frustrating as a shopper and as a former staff member, I know the reasons why.cost cutting to the detriment of their customers and the bottom line takes precedence over service.
Also having to pick up a phone and call the eastern states to enquire about your DJ card account while you're actually standing on Customer Services is ludicrous.

My daughter and I went to get a Chocolate Eclair and a Muffin to take away. Staff member was very rude and actually rolled her eyes. After we had purchased the cakes I went to look around the food department. She virtually followed me around ad though I was going to steal something. My daughter was ignored completely at another counter. Needless to say we walked away. Won't be going back. Maybe we weren't wearing thousand dollar dresses.
