Slow, not helpful at all, wish I read these reviews first instead of wasting my money. Applied for one for a job, missed the job completely because it still hasn’t been delivered. Asked for a refund and told it wasn’t possible. Go elsewhere.

Terrible service, still not received my police clearance, missed the job I was applying for the police clearance for because of how slow they are so wasted my money, staff on the phone were not helpful at all, and won’t give me a refund. Would rate lower than 1 star if possible. Go elsewhere.

Applied for police clearance as i needed one relatively quickly for a job (7-10 days) I read the website, sounded good, quick and easy with quick results.it's been over A week and still nothing and helpline isn't that helpful Just head into the post shop to save the hassle.

Why would you charge such a high fee for national police check compared to APF website? CVcheck rip you off.

The user experience for candidates is abysmal, the platform is very buggy, their check are extremely slow, communication to candidates is minimal their service inexistant both for candidates and business clients: They do not reply to phone calls, emails or contact forms - Sadly this is an excellent way to lose good candidates along the recruiting process

Takes ages with this company for a NPC, no customer support, there are other better companies to use for a NPC, do your research.

This is a scam. Now been a month and nothing. Finally got through on the phone only to be told they cant refund because they have passed on to police. Which is a lie. I told them the police dont have it and they need provide refund bevause they have not provided the service i paid for. I was put on hold multiple times and at the 20 minute mark i was hung up on. THIS IS A SCAM!
Do not use. 3 weeks later still not received. Blamed Police Department, just had a friend check. Police haven't even received it. Tried to contact them, almost impossible to and they do not reply to enquires, complaints and requests for refunds via the only contact source. Which is a Web enquiry form on their website. Worst business I've dealt with. Go straight to the Police or Australia post. I'm about to make a further complaint to ACCC.

Still waiting on a police check I ordered on 1/3/22. According to the emails I have received from them, they didn't even start my check until 7/3/22. So much for a 1 day turnaround. Emails from them are form standard, they don't acknowledge my queries, let alone answer them. Should have learnt from the slow response the first time I used them. Would not use again.

Won't return any correspondence about their error despite multiple attempts to contact them how they can get the wrong place of birth is beyond me when a birth certificate is supplied

Trying to get a NPC through this company. Can't upload my ID from my Centrelink app, don't have a paper one I can take a photo of.
Can't use my birth certificate as it's not Australian? Sorry I wasn't born here!
Tried to call and message is 'we aren't taking calls anymore, you have to go on the website'. Tried that and I can only get info re which ID to supply. I already know that!
I have previously had a police clearance issued but is not in the timeframe of three months, to use? That's a bit ridiculous, if it's not expired, it's not expired!? !?
Why can't I talk to someone? I'm trying to get this completed, but now I'm stuck. I keep getting emails to say I haven't sent the required ID, but I'M STUCK AND CANT SPEAK TO ANYONE OVER THE PHONE ABOUT IT.
I'll have to go into Status and tell them how useless this company is.

up tone, the emails I sent are computer generated, I would Not recommend cv check to my worst enemy, PS I lost the job I got due to not been able to start due to the long time wait

No one will answer the phone
It took them a week to get to my file
I would highly disregard any historic recommendations

Reliable yes - timely not so much. Took 3 days for a police check, which I got from Auspost in the time it took me to walk from the counter back to my car.

I am happy with the cvcheck service they actually helped me do something I didn't know I had to do and that was get my marriage certificate from Births, Deaths and marriages. I had to have the right identification for change of name and I finally got my marriage certificate and received my police check certificate so thankyou cvcheck for giving me a bit of a push to get my identification right kind regards Dominica Lovell

Applied for a police clearance 17/6/21, I am still waiting for it. When I've rang up and asked what's the hold up. I was told I just have to wait. After waiting 2 months, I applied through another place and received it in 2 days. I just called asking for a refund and was told it might not be possible and I'll have to show proof that I have one from elsewhere.
Will not recommend or use cv check again

Very disappointed with the non-existent customer service provided by CVCheck. I don't trust them due to their lack of assistance and transparency, and I will avoid them in the future and use other means instead of this "service"

When it came to providing proof of my person, I was on a remote mine and did not have the information at hand. I was emailed on a regular basis to remind me that it was still needed. There's no area where you can nominate that it will take time to get back to civilisation to complete the check. I do understand that most people would be in a home that night situation. It could be looked at for the next update to include this feature for the FIFO Population. Thankyou

I wouldn’t recommend cvcheck to anyone. It took over a month to get my police clearance without any notification on why from their behalf. I contacted them numerous time, over 3 weeks later when they finally had the decency to return a email, I then had to call them numerous times to sort out the smallest of problems on their behalf. Needless to say I couldn’t start my new job because the employer was also under the impression it takes 15 days maximum to obtain a clear. Not 33 days. Waste of time and money.

It took over a month for me to get my results back. Almost resulted in me missing out on my new job after I had resigned from my previous job. Honestly not good enough
