Hospitality around the 3 Star environment for a Hotel that advertises 5 stars in Perth. Make a complaint and you get a bot reply. Bit of a concern guests may get injured due to electrical issues in rooms. Light switches have sticky tape applied that allows the lights to stay on all night. Head to Bali me thinks….

They lost the harness covers for my new pram, and to get a hold of anyone to discuss the issue was practically impossible, ended up writing an email explaining the issue, which got no response. While there for 3 nights, we couldn't get our room cleaned even though the cleaners were on our floor and we pressed the button multiple times stating we wanted our room cleaned. It wasn't until the evening of the last night, we had to call and ask, but by the time they sent someone up, my kids were asleep so we couldn't have them clean, plus we were leaving the next morning so by then there was little point anyway. Very disappointed at what is supposed to be a five star establishment, especially as they lost something of mine, and I can't even get an apology. All that glitters is not gold!

Overall comfortable stay. Deluxe King Room was well decorated with comfortable bed, lounge, well stocked bar, Nespresso coffee machine. Carpet was a bit dated. Check in uses automated machines and rooms have an ipad which controls lights, TV and can be used to order room service. The pool is huge and beautiful, staff is lovely. Downside was the housekeeping the dustbin had not been emptied from previous occupancy and wardrobe hangers were dusty. The hotel however promptly addressed the complaints. There are plenty of food options in the Crown complex. Room Service food was ok but convenient over having to walk through the complex to a restaurant. Good experience and comfortable stay.

We were given a price for a river-view room. When we arrived we had a room facing the car park at the back. To move to a river-view room which we were told we had. We had to pay another $50. Then when we checked out we had to pay $50 a night. Be careful of add-ons at the Crown Towers.

Great amenities and location.
Room was deluxe but a few things were broken in the room that they already knew about but didn't fix.
Did have a great view though.
Service for a so called high level hotel was left wanting. For an international hotel they could learn a lot from other hotels in particularly overseas ones. Never went out of their way to assist or help with any requests.
Requested room service twice for two pillows but they never turned up and no response.
Had a major issue just requesting a vase (how hard could it be to get a simple vase?) for flowers being delivered to the hotel even though I contacted the hotel 2 days prior and was assured all was ok with this request. A note was even made on my booking confirming this. Refused to assist until I said I would go out and buy a vase if they would at least deliver the flowers to the room in it. Why so difficult over one vase. Put a dampener on our stay sadly.
Would stay again but will also checkout other hotels next time for ones with better service.

Spent our baby moon here - paid for the premier suite with crystal club.
Horrible experience from check in to our departure. Do not waste your time go to the Westin or the ritz!
The crown spa was also a horrible experience!

We come a couple times a year, every year since opening. This is our go-to staycation in Perth. The experience is always amazing and consistent. Rooms are spotless and well appointed. Staff is friendly and attentive. Cannot fault!

Stayed overnight with family.nice room, immaculately presented and as per website description. Caught the pool on a windy, lower temp day, kids loved it though. All staff I spoke to were exceptionally polite and well mannered. Gym is good too. I went in at 4am to try avoid peak or busy periods, but obviously the entire hotel were still sleeping so I got 2 hours of the whole gym to myself. View wasn't good but I don't book a room to look out a window at a place where I live lol.

Stayed at Crown Towers last Sunday - I found someone else’s blood stains on our bedding. The safe, phone and tablet weren’t working. They offered me a free upgrade for my next stay but I asked to have a partial refund or gift voucher instead but because I booked through booking.com they could only offer me a refund for my valet parking. Would never stay again and wouldn’t recommend.

Very poor customer service. Rang up the Reservation department 3 times in a day. No follow up calls. Trying to book for a work Christmas Party at Atrium for 30 people and they kept delaying by saying they will give me a call once the group booking team is free. No calls at all. No follow ups. Very unprofessional management. Absolutely disappointed.

Had the worst night ever I got to the hotel and went to check in and they ask me for a bond? Since when do hotels have bonds.

So I got to the room and it was a mess bed wasn’t made towels on the floor food tray on the table.

I valet parked my car and I went to request it then they bring up someone else’s car and then they took 45 minutes to find mt car.

Absolutely disgusted with crown and I will never be returning there again.

Great 5 star accommodation, clean large rooms, professional and friendly staff, great views over river, city and beyond

Service standards are getting back up there but still not quite there except for the crystal club where it's top-notch.

Covid has had an effect on services like the Cristal club making it not as special but it's understandable during these times. It's still a wonderful place to stay.

It’s great to see that Perth has finally got a truly five star hotel. Not just in looks but also in service standards. We had a Crystal Club package that allowed us separate checking, our own floor with food and drinks and an extra level of service that made us feel very special. We don’t do this often so it was a real treat and if your one that does this rarely I suggest paying that little extra for crystal club. Well worth it. I love Art Deco design and the whole hotel is stunningly appointed with old world Art Deco charm. Check out the lobby bar for sheer luxury. The views of the river are stunning from the rooms (water facing rooms). The pool is a real haven of fun for all ages with restricted areas for adults only making it quieter if u want that. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

Don't waste your money.
We got there and had to line up for 15-20 mins just to check in
We asked that if we arrived early we could access some of the facilities, but no, we couldn't even sit by the pool for a drink while the room was prepared
Not once was there mention on reserving spots at the pool before we got there? Every sun lounger had a towel on it so we couldn't sit by the pool and all the best shady spots were reserved. Speaking of which, $175 to hire some shade at the pool is a disgusting and unashamed money-grab.
They've also put the TV right in front of the beautiful view of the city skyline (and then bolted it to the cabinet) so you can't fully get to see your view.
This hardly felt like an "exclusive", "prestigious" hotel.

I felt like part of a herd of cattle getting milked for every cent they possibly could. When you spend so much money on something you expect little luxuries that make life more convenient and instead we got the opposite.

If you're after luxury accommodation go to the Ritz.

Most of the staff, apart from the guy on guest services who was abrupt and rude, were lovely but there were extensive cues to check in and in valet pickup and long waits for anyone to pick up the phone. I made two special requests about my wife’s birthday that were not heeded to. The tv remained disconnected for the duration despite two phone calls. There was only one bath robe- I called to request another one- this was not heeded- I had to call again later in the night.

Yes, I understand it was busy, but this not an adequate excuse. When you are paying $800+ per night for supposed luxury, this is utterly deplorable. Never again.

Hugely disappointed with the stay that I looked forward to for 5 years… not worth the $1000 it costs us for the weekend. I would like someone to provide me an email or phone number I can contact regarding this please.

WOW. What a beautiful place to stay. The room is magnificent and the staff just couldn't do enough to help. Great way to surprise my wife for her birthday and our wedding anniversary. Will definitely come back.

After enjoying many Crown Towers stays in the past, my recent experience over the weekend was extremely disappointing and certainly not what I would've expected from a 5 star hotel.

My partner booked a surprise weekend away for our anniversary and this is the experience we had:

Upon check in at 3pm on Friday 15 October, we were advised that the room wasn't ready and were given 2 drink vouchers to redeem at TWR bar whilst we wait and we would be offered a late checkout of 12pm on Sunday (and we would receive a text message when the room was ready)

By 5pm, we still hadn't received a text message regarding the room being ready so we followed up at concierge and the room was ready (yet we didn't receive a text)

We made our way to the room and upon arrival, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, toenails/finger nail clippings on the floor, used milk in the fridge and stains on the pillows.

I called guest services to advise of our disappointment and that our bags weren't delivered to the room (this was at 5.30pm and we had a dinner reservation at Epicurean at 6pm)

Bags were eventually delivered and I received a call back from the night manager who arranged for housekeeping to change the pillow cases. We were advised that there were no rooms to be moved to but we would receive an upgrade for Saturday night + free breakfast at Epicurean.

On Saturday morning, these notes weren't added to our booking so we didn't receive a free breakfast and went to speak to the Duty Manager regarding the room upgrade which we were advised wasn't available. We were moved to another room which was at least appreciated and offered free breakfast at Epicurean for Sunday, however after dining at one of Crown's restaurants on Saturday evening and experiencing food poisoning symptoms, we returned back home after a horrible experience.

We are lucky to have access to a corporate rate for the room, however after a $2,000 weekend, this was terrible and I won't be returning.

For a 5 star hotel, you need to look into the standards and service you provide.

Room was lovely and the pool area was awesome. House keeping needs lots of work we asked for room to be made up and they took all day to come and do it so didn’t get to enjoy the room as much as we hoped. Sheets had texture on them so not the standard you would expect from this hotel. Had to wait a long time for our vehicle after check out. The view from out room was amazing.
