Crown Metropol Perth

A bit disappointed with a so called 5 star hotel. Paid for an extra hour (11am-12pm) beyond checkout before we checked in. Then locked out of room at 11: 05am. Go down to sort it out and wait in line. Get new keys with the new checkout in place get to room still locked out. Go back down to wait in line once again. 35 minutes later we are quite annoyed as the hour was wasted. Refunded for the late checkout and offered an hour by the pool. Seriously where are we going to get changed with no room. Wow

Stayed here for 2 nights in March.
Have stayed previously and really enjoyed it but to me the Metropol is now beginning to feel like the “poor neighbour” of the Towers.
The foyer near the lifts constantly smells of stale cigarette smoke.
The bed was very comfortable but the lighting in the room was terrible, there wasn’t one place where the lighting was good enough to apply make up etc.
There were no toothbrushes etc provided and only 1 shower gel although when house keeping was contacted they were very quick to supply these items I just felt I shouldn’t have to be asking as they should already have been there.
The pool was lovely and poolside service good. Room service was efficient.
The breakfast at the Atrium was good and varied.

Stayed at the metropol rather than the towers this time, we think its more child friendly. Still missing something for family fun, after dinner there's very little to do, no movie channels in the rooms because they sell old movies for $15. A bowling alley or something close by would be great.

Great hotel, very accommodating, helpful and professional staff. Hotel rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel has numerous eating establishments enough to forefill all needs. Recommended

I had stay there in Christmas. Super convenience location that have everything you need. Plenty options to host, feed, shop and entertain yourself and your group at different age.
Atrium Buffet is a must go option for breakfast and dinner. Hundreds of food with premium quality and taste. One of the best restaurant in Perth. Good for money.
Bedding and facilities are good but in room towel wasn’t in very good condition. It’s clean but not soft.
Must highlight its outdoor pool areas. Good for kids and relax/rewards yourself.
Drawback is it’s elevators. Not enough when the hotel is full capacity (such as Xmas). Takes longtime to get onto ground floor and take longtime to check out. So be prepared in advance if you have limited check out time.

Love coming back here. Service is far better than Crown Towers. Staff go out of their way to please you. And you get SERVICE.

Concierge staff are super helpful! Sent up amenities quickly and solved a problem with our room immediately. Courteous and prompt, thank you very much to AJ and Aabri (apologies for the spelling). Thanks very much for making our stay great under difficult circumstances!

Wow. Get the special hotel stay deal. Great value and be treated like royalty. Fantastic food and entertainment options something for everyone.

We have been to metropol many times but not sure why we keep coming bak.customer service is disgusting and after complaining about the room we were put in as not wat we paid for, we are still waiting for response from duty manager 2days later.we have been treated better in hotels that aren't as pricey as metropol. GIVE IT A BIG MISS.

Absolutely disgusted that the concierge of a 5 star hotel would stink of stale cigarette smoke. Apart from that the stay was pleasant.

Poor customer service, poor management. 5 year old children roaming through the gym playing on equipment, had to wait 12 hours for complimentary sparkling wine after calling 3 times. Staff not removing reserved daybeds with towels although stating they have a 15min pool towel rule. Children also destroying pool tables in front of staff who seem unphased. Horrible experience.

Paid normal price thought Crown direct and other friend had a better view! Told had to pay extra for the that! Also my wife tried to book in will I was parking the car! (she was told that I had to book in and had to wait till I got there. (we have stayed at crown over 20 time this has never happened before) Also the lady's attitude was not great.
We stayed for two nights and No one turned down the bed!
We left about 8.30 in the morning the first morning and left the clean my room sign on came back to the room 1pm and it wasn't clean (lady cleaning next door. I ask her about our room and she said call down stairs and then it was 11/2 hours later (to clean the room) with my wife waiting in the hall way! Small thing like had to call for shower cap!
Crown Metropol Perth is not on our LIST to return any time soon!

Great place for a break. Very comfy bed and we'll set out toom. View from our room was fantastic, pool, Crown Towers, Optus Stadium, Matagarup Bridge, Perth City. Beautiful?

Love staying here. Very comfortable and professional. Great view and even better restaurants! Plenty to see and do for everyone of all ages.

We made a booking here for our wedding anniversary And were looked after so exceptionally well by duty manager John. Thank you so much for making our stay even better than what we expected! Lovely, clean and luxurious hotel. We have stayed here many times and will continue doing so!:)

I’m on day 2 at Crown Metropol
Perth and I have to say, for the price you pay the service is terrible. Staff are friendly enough (when taking your reservation or when taking your money), but you can’t get through to In-Room dining when you want to (and the wait time for food is an hour in the evening). Their Guest Services don’t live by their title, just telling you “it’s not their department” when you can’t get through to anyone else after trying multiple times. Shocked to say the least! Also the curtains in the King Luxe Spa room don’t close completely and the corner where the blockout curtains don’t meet let’s the sunshine stream through in the morning, so don’t expect a sleep in on your holiday/break. Especially in summer. Was this a five star hotel? I think more along the lines of a 3-star. Definitely not worth the price. Next time I’ll try the Hilton’s instead of the Packers.

Terrible! Over many years staying here this would have to be the most worst experience. Service was lacking, rooms made up terribly, no toiletry supplies, one of our rooms weren’t ready and had to wait nearly over an hour after check-in (despite checking in earlier than 3pm). Breakfast was also average and only standing room only by the pool. Don’t call it a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star with extreme prices.

Great convenient place to stay rooms are getting a little tired with marks on walls carpet etc but service is exceptional as always
