Cosi's Café reviews
73Big servings well cooked with views of the old church grounds. Can echo inside, something on the walls yo absorb the sound of excited people talking
Disorganised and eratic service. Coffee is never hot even if requested. Convenient location is the main attraction.
Friendly and fast service with good indoor and outdoor seating. The food was lovely and good value for money. The range was also good and there are vegetarian options available. A very nice place to enjoy a meal or morning/afternoon tea. Located right in the centre of town it's also easy to find.
This place has been there for 20 years plus, perhaps different owners. Outside and in side dinning. I had fish and chips. I did have to go and ask for a knife and fork so I could eat this, however the fish and chips tasted great. The hot chocolate tastied good. The toilets are old. A good cleaning would make them better. Staff help full a nd hard working.
The barista Callum is the most pleasant service person I have ever come across. His smile is welcomed especially as I am fussy with my coffee. I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee (and a smile).
The food is good for a cafe, generous servings, nice for breakfast or lunch. We took a large group, including children, and were served quite quickly and mostly together, which is difficult when all ordering different things.
On other occasions we have stopped for a drink, the berry smoothie was amazing and the chai is yummy.the little ones love the hot chocolate!
If I lived here in Albany, this place would be my regular cafe! Friendly staff, great food, strong coffee.
It is a good place for a good coffee and tea and cake and to relax and enjoy the rest of your day
Very good breakfast and coffee. Nice clean establishment decent menu options in pleasant surroundings with friendly service
Breakfast is delicious and available until 11: 00am then lunch starts and that is equally as good. Fantastic customer service!
We visited cosi's in search of a big breakfast, after checking 3 other cafe's out (which did not offer a big breakfast, only fancy high priced breakfasts) and we were not disappointed! Great service from the staff! The breakfasts were perfectly cooked, well priced and tasty as! We will definitely be back when in Albany next time!
I dont know how anyone cannot like Cosi's. Maybe they shouldn't have gotten put of bed (or maybe some folk can only make negative comments). This is a 5 star establishment and the first time we have been there. Every staff member was super friendly without being suffocating. The welcome started at the front door as we entered. The menu was so big I didnt know where to start but as it was already 2.30 we went for what we thought would be a smaller meal (whoever said it was limited is just a hard to please). But I ended up with an enormous egg and bacon sanger (with bbq sauce.the only way to go) and shared a paddock of delicious chips (had to get a doggy bag). The service was fast and came with a. The cafe was extra clean and even though the sign said they closed at 3.30 I heard a staff member (or owner) say " there's quite a few people around he was happy to stay on" and another said " we wont close until the last customer has gone". We will be back for sure if only to get a lovely hot coffee! And having a shaded dog friendly area was also a bonus. Thanks to the owners you are, and employ, genuinely friendly, happy people which is a refreshing change.look after those happy staff members its what will keep customers coming back.several other cafes in town could learn alot
Two stars but only for service.
I don't know who said they had the best scones in town but I think they never had real scones. What a waste of money and calories. Such a disappointment. First they put in in the microwave: why? Maybe because it wasn't fresh from the morning so they had to hide the overnight texture.
Cream isn't actual cream but whipped cream (not how you eat scones in the U. K) and jam is a tiny container of industrial and tasteless strawberry or marmelade.
Waited to try them scones all week, won't be back sorry!
