Cosi's Café reviews
73 Loved our breakfast here! Portion size and price were both really good. Well done guys on delivering an awesome breakfast, even though you were extremely short staffed when we were in. We will be back for sure. Great friendly and fast service with breakfast.
Unfortunately we have found lunchtime to be a different kettle of fish. Once I was given the wrong takeaway order and the other, it took 25 mins and me asking where my ham and tomato sandwich was as I was on my lunch break and couldn’t wait any longer.
Can still recommend breakfast though!
We're regulars at Cosis, and not once have we left disappointed. The food is fantastic, the staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the owner is just an amazing people person, always saying hello, thank you and goodbye at every opportunity.
This place has always been my go-to for a lunch date, or a catch up with family and friends for years, and I'm always keen for a visit.
Thank you to the staff for making Cosis such a special place
Great little spot! Prices have gone up since the last person posted the menu. I got the big breakfast which was delicious! Glad they allow dogs as well! The lady who owned it was great and so cheery! Really good!
Excellent customer service
Excellent food service
Always happy with my times at cosi’s
This cafe, has a lot of selection, we came early morning around 8: 15 was quiet inside but the service was so slow. The coffee was bitter. Egg and bacon sandwich was nice but nothing special
Getting a table was no problem despite limited outdoor seating. No menus available which wasn't super convenient to have our elderly guests having to get up and down to order their food from menu boards behind the counter. When we ordered we were told 20 min wait for food. Food arrived 40 mins after ordering mostly cold (it wasn't terrible it was just cold!) Only warm thing was the over cooked chips. Baby cino was served in full coffee cup too hard for our little one to hold and so full! Watched barista start my coffee and walk away 3 times into kitchen for unknown reasons coffee tasted bitter/burnt. Also concerning was server who insisted on passing hot drinks over the top of people rather than walking to that person and at end of our meal proceeding to leave plates on table and scrap other plates onto one in front of us on the table. Not cool. Very disappointing ambient music was competing with the kitchen music so it was not pleasant to try and talk. Lady behind counter was very welcoming and apologetic but let down by other staff.
Top class food and coffee, could not fault it. The queue for the counter says it all. Came in at 8.30 for breakfast, and already had 3 booths reserved, and we waited to be served. Quick service and delicious.
Visited this place on a a long weekend. Very busy but coped very well. Nice coffee and banana bread, not too long a wait.
Tried coffees everywhere in the centre but nothing comes close to the latte I get at Cosis, consistently 10/10 quality and service for almost a year now. Great atmosphere inside and outside too and the fish & chips and scones are a must try!
I was so glad that we stopped here for breakfast. From the outside, it isn't nearly so fashionable as some of the places down on Stirling Terrace, but the food was excellent, the coffee was wonderful, and it was served with something that seems to have become very unfashionable among hospitality workers: excellent customer service. The owner is clearly committed to it, and it shows. Fabulous.xox
Great cafe with plenty of tables and plenty of room for the family. Great food and great service
A regular customer and love the coffee and food, staff are fantastic and always work hard. To Mark Fountain who made that ridiculous review, you should have been more polite to the staff instead of yelling at them that day. You should also take into consideration how busy it was patience is a virtue.
I have just spent $100 for lunch and the staff are to busy to get my family a bottle of water, the customer service is dreadful.
Lovely people great place to enjoy the sunshine while you eat. With an excellent menu of great food thank you
This place will not disappoint. Great service, great food, and most importantly GREAT people. Travelling Australia we have seen some horrific Hospitality but this place is spot on and the coffee is red-hot.
We highly recommend.
Thanks again guys.
Great burgers!
Top service!
Nice place to chill while in town. Inside is booth style dining.
This place is a go to for morning tea and coffee. Great staff and the owner and team are so friendly. We're tried an array of menu selection, none dissapoint. Don't forget to get your cup of Apricot yoghurt soft serve.you won't be dissapointed.
Best steak sandwich for ages. Called in for a coffee, ended up with a steak sandwich. The wife's favourite. The steak was beautifully done served in a pannini with a great beetroot relish that added to the flavour. The coffee was good, hot and the service was very good. Well worth a visit.
I just got Eggs Benedict + Bacon takeaway with no fork, no knife and no tissue. Really bad hollandaise sauce.
I've just started going here after a long time away and was surprised to find the coffee has gotten even better and after having a chat to the owner I'm certain the right bloke owns the store and all staff are professional and friendly overall a 5 out of 5 star store VERY highly recommended for snacks, breakfast, lunch and just about all the rest too.
