Coles North Perth

Not a single checkout - all self service - which is fine when you're only getting a few items, but when you're getting a week's worth of groceries and have a toddler in tow, it's a complete debacle!

Having said this though, the service at this store has been good in the past. This is one of those times where I have been motivated to post a review because of a bad experience.

The customer service I received at the checkout tonight from Austin was immaculate! He was genuine, talkative and i had such a good experience, so nice to be acknowledged and asked about my day! Thanks Austin:) As a store manager myself, thats everything i look for when hiring.

5 star review for beyond-call-of-duty service I watched today (Sunday 22/10, at around 12.10).
My receipt says I was served by Linda, on 002, and I wish to give her a shout-out with regard to the extra assistance she gave to the customer ahead of me.
He was in a mobility scooter and not very coordinated. Linda took the trouble to come around to help him lift items for scanning, and was very patient with him, despite his grumpiness. He'd even dropped 5c and she took the trouble to search for it and retrieve it for him, again, with not much gratitude from him.
Such customer service offered by Linda is somewhat lacking in supermarket shopping so please ensure Linda her efforts were noticed and commend her accordingly.

Really but online system and bad customer service. I put an order online and they give me bags with stuff that I didn't order, they got out stock (I don't know why because only it was available) and they put in the bags a complete different items. How bad is that? Also to solved the problem they ask me to call a number to fix the issue instead they try to help. I lost 2 hours of my time for nothing. Really bad service here.

There is a lot of creeps and one of the staff was telling me that she gets uncomfortable comments from men Complimenting her. The store is never restocked

I mean, I'd rather shop elsewhere but there aren't many great alternatives. Staffed by a nice bunch of people. Often out of products, usually the one thing you really want.

Small supermarket but missing a lot of products due to the general situation. Great parking options. Excellent staff.

Items on specials were showing as full price when I checked them out. If I hadn’t kept a hawk eye, I would have been overcharged several times. Being at the sel-checkout made it much harder as I stood waiting quite a long time for the attendant to make the changes. This place used to be convenient, but I got sick of it today. Not only does coles save by getting us to self-check, it saves by having just one employee at the self-check at very busy and peak-times.

Always a nice place to shop. I personally like this branch as the staffs here are generally nice and helpful. Cam, one of the night staff is very friendly and happy to assist me finding stuffs that are challenging to find.

Love the staff at this Coles. Such troopers through Covid. Always go to the joyful staff over the machines!

Poor customer service. Elderly mother bought ‘Tasman prawns’ thinking they were Tasmanian Prawns. Really they were Vietnamese Vannamei farmed prawns with added stabiliser chemicals. Tried to return them given this issue and Manager was rude and cut me off while I attempted to explain situation and refused to return them seemingly against the Coles return policy below.

Convenient to stop in on way home. It’s a small Coles so range of products is reduced. Can be difficult to access car parking but always free bays.

Coles remains the same for the most part. The one thing that can differ between them is People.
And in this case, North Perth has a breath of fresh air in the Deli, named Sarah.
Bright, efficient, receptive to courtesy and with a delightful laugh.
Every Coles should have one!

Worst car park worst service on several occasions have asked for certain brand of ciggarets and have been given the wrong ciggarets ones hard of hearing older staff who get flustered on the express lane

Regularly fail to stock basics. Consistently replacing quality brands with coles brands. I went to FarmerJacks the other day and was reminded what a good supermarket looks like.

Easily the WORST managed supermarket in the land. Poorly stocked shelves a constant. Have permanently switched to new Woolworths Inglewood.

Only 3 check outs operating, what ever happened to customer service and a fast check out/payment.

Went there as a drop in on the way home from work. Store was easy to get in for what I needed. Store is always busy but used self serve checkouts.

The worst stocked Cole's around. Not enough selection of brands. There is not much of their own brand they stock here. It's not a small Cole's so I don't know why it's such an issue. I'm sick of asking at the desk for an item to be told they don't stock it at this one. It's a shame because I live right next to North Perth Plaza and the staff are nice but I now shop at Dog Swamp for my weekly shopping as the Cole's there has a great selection, and if they don't have something I can usually find it at the Woolies or Aldi in the same complex.

Have never been a fan of this store. Have lived locally for over 10 years. And avoided this Coles after being disappointed for at least 90 % of the time. Today I was short of time and in the area. I had to just get a couple of items. The service was great. And the fresh produce was amazing. Keep it up Coles north Perth.
It is not easy to keep customers. And sometimes u can get them back. I will return.
