City West Licensing Centre reviews
56Efficient and polite staff. Had to wait but that's always the case with these places. Was doing a vehicle transfer and took about 35 minutes total, most was waiting. Currently you need to que outside and social distancing is being enforced by staff, just stand on the ground stickers and you won't be told.
Very good service and was in and out in about an hour which was great considering the covid restrictions on amount of people allowed inside, gave me necessary paperwork while in line outside so made it all easier. Thank you.
Took my son to apply for his L's yesterday. I was so nervous wondering if I had sufficient paperwork. Anyhow everything went smoothly. So impressed at the lovely man and service at the front door getting people to wait outside. So courteous thank you. Also especially to Kerri who served my son who was by himself at the counter. She was so informative (when I went up to pay), kind, knowledgeable and thorough with brilliant ideas. City West you are to be commended for beautiful staff members. Thank you.
So went to take my HPT and I finished it and everything, everyone that served me was lovely but I pulled my phone out for a second after my test without realising that you couldn't do that I checked the time on it put it back in my pocket and some guy from the department of transport was trying to make a scene out of it "He was probably cheating on his test" said it very loud for everyone to hear. There is no answers online in the first place so how can you even cheat and why do you try and make a scene out of it when I pretty much did nothing wrong.
Thomas served me and he was great. Wait time wasnt long and all social distancing measure are in place and being adhered too
It's a department building. Expect to wait and don't expect to have a nice time. Set ur expectations low and U won't be disappointed.
Very kind and helpful staff. Very fair assessment taking and advice. Far better than the department of transport on canning highway.
Had my PDA here today and passed! Assessor was very straight forward, direct but very calm and made me feel relaxed during assessment. The guy who assisted me paying and doing some more paperworks is very nice and efficient as well! Done my PDA and got my license in just under an hour. Highly recommend this site.
Had a really great experience here. First, talked to a very lovely and helpful lady on the phone. Then sat my PDA with an assessor (can’t remember his name) who was calm and made me feel relaxed for my test. And I passed! I recommend coming here for your driving test.
Terri served me who was the most aggressive, unpleasant, defensive woman I have ever come across. Zero customer service just a non smiling, unhappy person who made my visit horrible. Please train her in simple manners.
Had my pda with Terry? I’m terrible at remembering names. The assessor helped me calm my nerves by talking about what was going on around me, which meant I could relax and drive as I normally would in a normal day to day situation rather than feeling the pressure of it being a test (I panic and over think)
Before we even left the car park she managed to get my anxiety levels from a 10 down to a 5 and then I felt confident whilst I was in the car with her rather than feeling every tiny little thing was being assessed
She was incredible!
Even from the handshake and introduction at the centre I felt more at ease about the whole thing.
She defiantly knows how to read people and helps them to feel relaxed enough to drive how they would normally drive rather than putting them under pressure and then making silly mistakes
Thank you!
Staff are very helpful & do a gr8 job.the waiting time is appalling - need double the staff
Always a huge crowd and just to do some paper works of 5 min you have to wait a queue of more than an hour.
By far the best experience I've had at a licensing centre. Quick, friendly and helpful service - much appreciated!
Only exists to help migrants move to Australia to keep our failing housing market afloat. Not interested in helping second or later generation australians. However if you have just moved over and can't speak english they will be happy to help you.
15 counters and at one stage only 3 people working during peak time
Lots of people waiting
